Paint work a little tired
the Adelaide is in a great location the room was very nice clean and tidy at breakfast there was a good selection of food and the cake that they leave in the lounge for you to help yourself too is a nice touch and very yummy, cant wait to return
I was met by a friendly lady who helped me up the stairs with my case. the breakfast was fab, full English breakfast cooked to perfection, also a choice of continental. comfy bed, clean bathroom .In a great location
Delicious fried breakfasts and cakes each afternoon plus a side view onto the sea.
My husband and I have been coming to Brighton for year's, we have stayed in many hotels and bed and breakfasts...Adelaide house is by far the best so far. Great location, beautiful room, the most comfortable bed we've slept in. Breakfast was delicious, will definitely be stating here again...
Can't think of any negatives....
Location (close to Metropole Hotel where I was playing in a bridge event) Good breakfast Comfortable bed
My room was on top floor so lots of stairs to climb but not too much of a problem
The place was very clean & the breakfast was good. My room was on the top floor (no lift) and I had a little exercise every time going in and out.
Very small single bed, so I expected to wake up on the floor at some point. The basin in the bathroom was positioned in front of the entrance to the shower cabin. Thank God I didn't have a big belly, otherwise I wouldn't be able to squeeze in. I wouldn't recommend staying for more than 1 night.
The room was lovely, very tidy and the bed was comfortable.
The shower in our room was poor, there was hardly any pressure and the water trickled out, making it very difficult to actually have a shower.
Great Variety at breakfast
The dining room smelled odd-sort of mouldy
Location was everything. The size of the room was also great and breakfast serving more than good.
Only thing, which is a very slight dislike, was the shower pressure. A tiny minus though and had no impact on our stay.
Great location near everything very clean good selection at breakfast and nice firm beds
The bloke who runs the hotel was not very welcoming I just think he needs to show a bit more appreciation to his customers he gave the impression that he didn't care much, but the lady serving at breakfast did a great job and was much more approachable
the location , the size of the room, the lady who showed us to our room and also rebooked for us to return was very professional and engaging.
the curtains need to be darker because the light fills the room at 5 am. way to early to be awake.
Friendly good location we would stay there again.
69 steps from breakfast to room.
Added value in adding to the guests expectations
Close to centre, well appointed comfortable room, handy for all amenities.
Tatty decoration, dead plants at entrance, backyard view disgraceful.
great location, ,clean, rooms are good size and facilities eg kettle ,tea, coffee helpful. An excellent breakfast.
Staircase areas sprayed with cheap smelling air fresheners, that have strong lingering aroma - not necessary.
we really enjoyed our stay at the Adelaide really comfy bed good variety of breakfast menu location was excellent for the beach, bars, and restaurants, also shops nearby would definately recommend staying at Adelaide House.
Lovely big room, very clean and excellent breakfast, also dog friendly
Friendly staff and very helpful. Good security. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast.
The carpet needs changing throughout - it is stained and harbours smells a little.
Good breakfast served by friendly & helpful waitress. Great location. Fairly quiet.
Very scruffy decor. Dust everywhere. Hairs in bathroom. Shower not clean. Lots of cobwebs. Dog hairs!! Needed a good vacum. Hot water coming out of cold tap.Tatty cardboard box left on floor of public lounge. Musty smell. Generally not a pleasant experience!!
The location was excellent! The breakfast selection was great and all very fresh
The owner was not very friendly We had to clean a dirty wardrobe before we could put clothes away The owner was arguing very loudly at 1am in the morning with a resident and it was getting very heated Expensive for what it is
Staff lovely, bright summary room no 26, great breakfast dog friendly , good location for beach and shopping round bk. good view to regent park outside
Stair climb to second floor, bit noisy outside bed bit hard for me
Clean, good breakfast and friendly.
Nothing to dislike. Would stay again.
