Convenient location for our purposes. The room was of a generous size, the bed comfortable, clean en suite, and the double glazing kept the traffic noise to a minimum. Breakfast cooked to order and fine. Good car parking. Would stay here again.
Only minor but on a very busy dual carriageway looking out over an industrial park. No help with bags up the stairs which for an elderly couple like us would have been good.
Comfortable bed Bottle of water in the room Good value meals in restaurant
Hairdryer didn't work. One light was not working in the bathroom
good value for money for overnight stay, comfortable room,
waited for one hour for breakfast, only one waiter and dining room full due to wedding party. waiter very apologetic, but as bookings were taken management must have known how many people were staying and should have rostered enough staff to cope
Enjoyed a good sized, clean and comfortable room
Disappointed with the english breakfast, far too greasy
staff location comfy bed
shower could be cleaner Window didnt shut properly
The staff, the food, the room, in fact it was exceptional value for money
The steak was overcooked but apart from that it was great
Made to feel very welcome by the majority of staff. Assistant Manager was very polite and helpful. Full English Break was very nice.
Found one particular bar staff member a bit sharp and unhelpful (this was a young lady).
Room size, comfortable bed, good food
The staff were very rude and couldn't be bothered to show us where our room was, there was two staff bickering as to who wasent going to show us where we was supposed to go, their attitude and ignorance stank
the room was lovely and spacious, the breakfast was delicious and plentiful.
the staffs attitude stank, they was extremely rude, and couldnt be bothered do there job properly as show uswhere our room was, it was a complete chore to them, your staff need manners and training in how to be polite and courteous to guests, or go work in mcdonalds and get a life
it is convenient as a location, as it's just off of the motorway..easy off & easy back on. we used it as a central point to sight-see several places around. breakfast was good, options of cereals, fruit & yogurt to start & then a choice of a hot dish, filling us up for several hours.
you're on a main road & there's a building site behind so if you're a light sleeper, like me, you may struggle a bit. also, the creaking of the stairs & hall didn't help, so try not to stay in room 1 (it's at the back so you get the car-park & building site & as the windows didn't appear to be double glazed you get some road noise as well) unless you're late to bed & an early riser! it's also not near Bridgwater itself so you wont be able to walk into town.
Friendly staff, lovely location, very homely and cosy hotel, nothing was too much trouble, excellent cooked breakfast, in fact all food was excellent and great value for money.
There wasn't any negatives.
Basic but clean room. Some road noise all night. Excellent breakfast. Decent restaurant.
Good value for money, easy to find on main A38.The staff were friendly and helpful.Breakfast was more than enough to start the day.
The only downside ,its too close to the main road.Which did not help as the secondary glazing was badly fitted with a gap down one side ask for room at back, the view out of the wjndow over looked a recycling plant.
Large room, great quality toiletries, comfortable beds.
Only one bedside light
Everything, the Staff, the food, the bedroom, a really nice visit.
nice room, very clean, friendly staff
did have a long wait for food at breakfast on Sunday and dinner on Saturday
very good staff especially a very attentive manager pleasant bar area and if its just a night stop with cheap bar food (2 4 1) this hotel will do the job
make sure you get a back room if you like to open a window as the traffic noise from the A38 is loud. Double beds are small and only 1 bedside light. Get a twin, back room and its a good stop.
The value for money has to be the primary reason to stay. This is a standard, transient traveller, pub b&b which delivers a nice clean room, good pub food and genuinely free internet. Internet access is always important to me but most hotels either want you to log in so they can send you junk or want payment. At the Admiral's Table, you simply connect and it's working.
The room is quite big
Beds were very comfy. Breakfast was very good value especially as came with the room. Family room very spacious with sofa and coffee making facilities. pub under hotel serving food and drink at reasonable price.
Booked into room on day before wedding and bedroom wasn't made up for my wife - they didn't even know it wasn't made up until we said. house keeping forgot to tell reception, wasn't nice to walk into on day before wedding. That's the only negative I have.
The Staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, bar meals were good value 2for1 very tasty and plentiful. Would recommend to friends
After staying in some quite cramped B&Bs on my trip, the roominess of the room here was welcome, especially at the price.
Relatively low cost and sleep quality was fine even though it is on a busy road
Saturday night arrival meant it was packed with diners/difficult to park.Staff under pressure and although a big breakfast it was slow arriving
Waitress told my husband that if he didn't like the pie she would change it,That was service! Food really good and brilliant choice.
Jason was really good, but it appeared that he was serviing breakfast and doing checkout so breakfast did not feel relaxed, perhaps another staff member would have been good.
Food was nice Staff friendly & helpful
Bed was awfull- too small & very uncomfortable, didn't get much sleep!! The location was not as we expected ( industrial estate ) & was too close to traffic outside, which we could hear ALL NIGHT!!!!
