The location was fantastic for my purposes. The apartment was surprisingly well-appointed and comfortable. The view from the balcony/patio was outstanding. All very good indeed and very good value. The staff we met were all very helpful. The only negative was that the appartment had not been really well cleaned prior to our arrival - it was not dirty, but there were crumbs everywhere and the floor was sticky. Not a drama, but it detracted from what would otherwise have been a five star experience.

The location, the space and privacy worked especially well as there was just my friend and I sharing the apartment so we had a room of our own rather than tiny twin beds you find in a traditional hotel environment. . The information regarding the apartment was very limited when booking. For example, what was available in the apartment, such as hairdryer and towels and which apartment was actually available. The location had rather loud traffic noise but then I am used to not having any so others might not find it an issue at all.

As we entered the hall we were greeted with a lovely red sunset over Gosport and Southampton in the distance, viewed thought the panoramic windows in the lounge. Our apartment was situated on the 12th floor giving excellent views. The accommodation, two large bedrooms, one ensuite, a second bathroom (you could get a single bed in here), and the lounge/kitchen were really clean - it is run by the Naval Trust! Everything was provided from an iron to an iPod docking station, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, Sky tv, free Wi-fi and a nice welcome pack (milk, bread, butter, cereals, tea, coffee and a bottle of wine). The whole site was secure, entry and exit by fob key to buildings and car park, and a 24 hour concierge if there was a problem. I have got to be honest, the only improvement I would suggest is a place to hang your coats as you entered. We had a wet day and coats had to be hung on the back of the dining chairs. Oh maybe one other small thing, a pair of binoculars, the movements in the Sound is addictive.

The apartment is very high standard and has excellent views, secure and free parking also included. There was some basic food stuffs, and wine, provided which was an added bonus. The deposit was also returned very quickly. Very good base for a family with the Historic Dockyard a 5 minute walk away and Gunwharf Quays and old Portsmouth a further 5. We also used as a base to get to Peppa Pig World and Beaulieu Motor Museum. The immediate area is not the sort of place you would go for an early evening stroll, howvever if I was going to stay in Portsmouth again I would stay at this accommodation.

This was the first time I have .stayed at Admiralty Quarter & as a regular visitor to Portsmouth would not wish to stay anywhere else. The quarter was absolutely fantastic with an amazing view. I look forward to staying again. I travelled with one of my sons, daughter in law and 11 month old grandson. We were provided with a Travel Cot & High Chair. We arrived to find bread, milk, butter, Jams & a bottle of wine etc. There is nothing to dislike.

The flat was modern and very clean with eveything possible provided. It was close to the shops and eveything was free (car parking welcome pack in the fridge etc etd) there were no extras. We had an excellent panoramic View of Portsmouth., We had a happy and comvorable Stay and would reccomend it to anyone who wants a stay and not requrie the full servaces of a hotel. Clean - comfotable and panoramic view. No extras. Nice touch - bread milk biscuits etc and a bottle of wine left for us. Very thoughtful.

Conveniently located with free secure parking. Wonderful views of the historic dockyard from the 8th floor balcony. Warm, clean, well equipped appartment with a very generous welcome pack. Quiet location but only a 7 minute stroll to Gunwharf Quay. Free wifi with good signal. One bedroom is opposite a generous bathroom with bath and showre over, other bedroom has ensuite shower room. Beds are very good quality but only UK double in size so we found them a little small and didn't sleep as well as we otherwise would have done.

Convenience for Portsmouth Harbour, close to main motorways to visit the area.Close to historic boatyard and all restaurants and bars and shopping nearby. Secure parking and apartment security was excellent. The only dislike was that all rooms had double beds whereas twin beds would have been more beneficial.

The apartment was very modern and sleek with a beautiful view. There were 3 adults in our party and we were all very comfortable with the accommodations. Great location-near university, gun wharf quays and Portsmouth Harbour train station. There were also some nice little snacks that we really appreciated after a long days journey. The rooms could be a little damp, but to be fair the weather while we were there was very rainy - so damp or muggy rooms might be unavoidable in England. It certainly wouldn't stop me from staying there again. I would go to sleep with fairly straight hair and by the morning I had some unruly curls. Nothing that the hair dryer and a little styling cream couldn't fix.

It was a great location, walking distance from lots of activities, bars, restaurants. The appartment was described as luxury and it was! Was lovely to stay in and would go again and recommend to friends. Couple of minor points. It was on a split level and the WiFi did not work downstairs. Lack of clocks and mirrors in the bedrooms.

The apartment was well furbished, clean and nicely appointed. There was Wifi and a washer dryer, which was great as we were on our way back home to Australia and managed to do some washing before we left! There was everything we needed. There was no toilet roll holder in the ensuite! The dressing table stool was broken.
