large bedroom Good quality furnishings throughout Very hospitable host Superb breakfast Ample parking Very quiet location
everything! the room was super , parking at the door, helpful staff and great breakfast
The hole place was lovely. Audrey makes you feel at home when you arrive. It's like staying at a friends house. Any thing you want is no trouble.
Good size bed room with good sized bath room, very clean. We were of to the side of the main building which has a very nice and lovely breakfast room. Lots of room for parking and good breakfast with great service.
It is away from everything including the Edinburgh Airport (22 miles) which was our main reason for choosing Adniston Manor without realizing its distance from the Airport! We were told we could check in before 1:30PM or after 5:00 PM which made it inconvenient.Wi-Fi in our room was very spotty and slow! The room heater does not come on until after 8:00 in the morning and Audrey is all business! The town of Tranent looked a little seedy and gritty which we avoided.
After using Booking.com for over 10 years all hotels have been good but this one exceeds all others
Loved the whole experience of staying, good food, clean and very tidy and modern. Great food and excellent service by the hosts Alan and Audrey, 10 out of 10 points to all. Loved the experience and would thoroughly recommend the Manor. Close to Edinburgh and all services.
Comfortable bed, good breakfast
Unreliable Internet access.
Beautiful setting, very comfortable, modern and stylish accommodation. Excellent breakfast.
Good location if visiting Edinburgh but the immediate surroundings are not particularly interesting.
Comfort, spacious room, superb breakfast
Couldn't get wi-fi
Everything was just perfect. Qill now be our base for our annual trip to visit family.
The best guesthouse we have been in for a long time. So homely, clean, lovely people. Highly recamend to everyone.
The setting was lovely. The room was clean and comfortable with lots of lovely touches. The breakfast was excellent with a wide range of choice
Decor for the rooms is lovely and the breakfast was fantastic.
No realistic hope of wifi in the room I stayed in, and nowhere to get an evening meal easily without a car (to be fair I should have had a car). However, I improvised and ordered a takeaway delivery. TV worked fine but was very old fashioned compared to other places I stay.
Bedroom was clean, modern, and of excellent standard, comfy bed and designer style decor. Breakfast was of an excellent standard, plenty of choice and very enjoyable.
Everything was just perfect so this comment does not apply to me.
Room clean, neighbours quiet,Great food.
The food was of a good standard with plenty of choice.
There was nothing we did not like about this accommodation.
Close to Edinburgh.
Some people clearly do not enjoy being in the hospitality business. Adniston Manor has large rooms and should be able to provide luxurious accommodation, but is furnished and decorated in a soulless manner, and the service is equally cold. Obvious budget restrictions mean poor linen, a bad mattress, cheap toiletries and sub-standard food, prepared without love and served without warmth. A similar feel can be found at the owners' nearby pub which is almost forced upon arriving guests as the only nearby option. There must be better B&Bs close to Edinburgh, and we shall certainly be looking at them next time.
LOCATION, BREAKFASTS WERE OUTSTANDING
Owners was lovely
Lovely spotlessly clean room, excellent breakfast with plenty choice. Ideal location for touring the area. Nice to be able to sit outside at table and chairs provided and enjoy a lovely cup of tea.
