Very good service, nice facilities although very narrow corridors. Comfortable beds to sleep in. English breakfast specially made according to your order. Unfortunately no fruits for breakfast.
They changed our room. We had ordered a double bed but instead we got two single beds! We could thankfully not hear our neighbours voices (except when they mistakingly tried to open our door) but we could hear their water running.
comfortable room, very clean, good facilities, location good enough to get to the city's main attractions
The receptionist is almost absent. It's hard to contact them when there's a problem. When I went to breakfast the door was closed and it said "call this number if you are not attended". It doesn't make sense as first of all nobody picks up and second, it's expensive for a visitor to call a British number. I was standing in the rain waiting for sb to let me in until I discovered back door for the staff! When I went into the breakfast room everybody from the staff was sitting by one table and chatting! Unacceptable!!!
1/ location almost near to city center 15 min by bus 2/ nice and helpful staff 3/ cheap area so u can find multiple choices for catering 4/laundery in front of u so no need to take heavy luggage 5/ morning breakfast is mandatory but i have comments on it
1/ no elevators so u have to use stairs 2/ break fast is excellent but every day eggs so if u have egg allergy u will suffer
Room was clean and the receptionist was friendly.
The bathroom tub leaked, one of the lamps were not working in the room. Breakfast was served in a neighboring hotel.
Sainsburys is across the road.
This is no ordinary hotel. You arrive in the front room and find two men surfing the internet in the front room, apparently this is check-in. Both men ignored my wife and only spoke to me. The rooms are made up mismatched furniture. Breakfast is indeed down the road at one of at least three properties run from front rooms. There is no out of hours representative in the building. Finally upon checking out we were not asked if we had enjoyed our stay they just took the key card and that was it. I know its London but I'll be staying in the hostel around the corner next time.
Very clean Hot breakfast Complimentary wifi Nearby stores, walking distance to mall.
Too small Just enough room to sleep and shower
room and en suite were clean.
They have recently bought 2 nearby hotels and breakfast (I think for all three) was in the basement of one of these. Not enough tables or chairs so people were queuing in the corridor. Only eggs and toast and beans as hot items. The 2 staff were forgetful and overworked. The kitchen was part of the dining area. Margarine rather than butter. Just normal tea bags, coffee or orange juice, no choice beyond that. Very disappointing. Bed wasn't very comfortable, and there was a dodgy looking sheepskin rug on the floor for no apparent reason.
The room and en suite were very clean and the discounted price was not bad for London.
Single room was tiny and a bit noisy being at the top of the main stairs and when it rained, the dripping noise from above was annoying. There was a constant unpleasant smell in the main staircase. Had I paid the full indicated price for this, I'd have been pretty fed up.
Friendly staff and good location
Room too small
Central Location. Convenient to Tube and Buses. Staff were friendly and polite.
Very small room.No Closet to hang or put clothes away. Narrow stair case for baggage. Room overlooked Shepherds Bush Road so was noisy.
Brilliant location for the Shepherds Bush Empire, and a lovely clean bright room, perfect for the purpose of my trip.
Liked - close to shopping mall, not too far from train station, street wasn't too noisy.
Had to constantly ask for the heating to be turned on, room was tiny, shower flooded when we had a shower. Staff were not the most pleasant either - we had asked when we booked the room if we could get into our room early, (we had just come off a 13hr flight and it was 8am) but this too hard for them. Would not book this hotel again.
I did request a quiet room on top of their rooms being sound proof (as the description says). Me and my mum slept 2 hours because of the noise coming from the other rooms. It was extremely loud. Sound proof rooms?... This is absolutely not acceptable. I had my worst experience ever. Don't book any room here. I'm very disappointed.
Location is great. Staff very helpful and pleasant very accommodating.
The drainage in the shower and sink was very poor. Didn't get a chance to advise staff as I was running late but I'm sure they would have put things right.
Everything... The room, bed, breakfast... Everything
Worst hotel experience of all time.
We had a compact, comfortable room. Delighted tea and coffee making facilities in room was available. Breakfast was more than continental as freshly cooked eggs and beans were offered.
Expected stay in Sapphire, but our room was actually 7 doors down the road in the Pearl. There are 3 buildings in all, the third being the Emerald. We think it would be good to have this explained during the booking process, which support customers being dissatisfied on check in - though we were pleased with our staying in the Pearl as that's where everyone has breakfast.
Very friendly staff, clean, good breakfast.
Room was clean ..newly redecorated
A bit hot..top fllor
Really close to the Shepherds Bush Empire
Our room was right at the top of the building so anything more than an overnight bag would have been difficult to manoeuvre up stairs
Good Clean Modern Compact Room with all the usual en suite attributes
Nothing, though the staff were pleasant enough.
The hotel is on a noisy road but it's central London so that's expected. The corridors smelled of gas, there was black mold all over the bathroom ceiling and shower tiles, a cracked mug and very cheap furniture. They call themselves a boutique hotel, more like market stall hotel at best.
Fair enough, it was an affordable room and you can't complain the price but please put actual photos of the room on your ad. The single room is the size of a large cupboard! It's ok for a one or two night if all you need to do is sleep but don't expect it to be like the photo!
Moved to a different hotel, room was super tiny and the bathroom was the nicest place. Noise level unbearable - you can hear everything from the streets.
