Really close to the Shepherds Bush Empire
Our room was right at the top of the building so anything more than an overnight bag would have been difficult to manoeuvre up stairs
Good Clean Modern Compact Room with all the usual en suite attributes
Nothing, though the staff were pleasant enough.
The hotel is on a noisy road but it's central London so that's expected. The corridors smelled of gas, there was black mold all over the bathroom ceiling and shower tiles, a cracked mug and very cheap furniture. They call themselves a boutique hotel, more like market stall hotel at best.
Fair enough, it was an affordable room and you can't complain the price but please put actual photos of the room on your ad. The single room is the size of a large cupboard! It's ok for a one or two night if all you need to do is sleep but don't expect it to be like the photo!
Moved to a different hotel, room was super tiny and the bathroom was the nicest place. Noise level unbearable - you can hear everything from the streets.
Unpleasant odour in single room. Room very very small.
Was a comfortable stay. Bathrooms a bit small but comfy. Breakfast was good to
no left too much expensive compared to same next doors.
They put me in their sister hotel down the road called the Pearl Hotel. I gave them £80 cash. The room was £75 and they said they would give me change later they never did. Room was tiny and small. Won't be going back.
Cheap for London, and good quality, clean room, if a little small.
Too noisy, room was at the front on a main road. Room was small, but not uncomfortably so, average for the price
The ceaniness of the hotel in a serene location.
friendly staff and cleanliness
Too much noise in the night because of traffic if the window is open
I like the staff they were friendly ,and the location is near to the underground...
I didn't like that there was no phone in the room so I have to go down if I want any thing from the staff
Clean, freshly modernised.
The rooms are too small and the location too remote to reflect the rate
Pretty close to venue . Spotlessly clean room . Ok for what we needed.
Small room. Noise from kitchen and fan !!
Clearly had been recently refurbished, clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Decent location, lots of choice for eating in the vicinity and not too far from the Tube
The rooms were a little on the small side, especially the bathroom.
Friendly staff Good continental breakfast Cleanliness Good location
The hotel is absolutely over-expected. I thought it should be like other hotels on Shepherds Bush Road which are family style, cheap and easy. But this hotel is very modern, the room is small but pretty, you'll love the white and gloss furniture. They even have a refrigerator in single room. Bathroom is very clean.
- Romanian staff that work there and all staff - bathroom - clean We payed for a double room at Sapphire Hotel, and we asked for a bigger bed and we received a triple room with a double size bed (135 cm max width) and a single bed so we had plenty of space in bed - breakfast was good, but not versatile
- short and small beds. double bed is 135 x 90 cm so you better take twin room. we were lucky to receive that room - breakfast is not versatile (eggs, beans, toast, marmalade, butter, nutella, sweet yogurt, croissants, orange juice, coffee, tea, milk)
Location - near to Hammersmith for Kate Bush concert
Fridge in room, good idea but very noisy so had to turn it off. Very noisy road on front of hotel. Smell of damp in bathroom.
Very noisy staff they speak loudly with each other. The housekeeping cleaning is very poor and do not change sheets often.
Location as attending a concert in nearby hammersmith. However would stay down closer to hammersmith if doing it again
The first thing we were told is that we were in fact staying in their sister hotel Pearl Hotel down the road. I didn't book the pearl hotel and was annoyed at being told I had to stay there. We were informed that we were getting ' one of their best rooms' and that it was 'slightly bigger than the others' . This was absolute rubbish of course. The room was literally in the attic. Had to go up 7 sets of stairs to get there and it was tiny. For some strange reason they had crammed a double and single bed in there. This basically resulted in a scenario where if one of you wanted to do something in the room, such as get dressed, the otherperson had to keep perfectly still in the corner or someone was going to get injured. The noise from the street was incredible, a constant stream of sirens and engines. Closing the two little velux did little to soundproof it. The double bed was tiny and made uncomfortable sleeping for two people. We couldn't actually have used the second bed as we needed it to put the suitcase on it!! The staff were almost non existent and I didn't find them particularly friendly. We never made breakfast so I can't comment on that. The only plus to this hotel was it's location for us as we were attending the Kate Bush concert in Hammersmith down the road. I would not recommend this area of London to stay in unless you are doing something specific in in the locality. What is classed as a hotel in London would be classed as a guesthouse at home - the biggest difference being the exorbitant prices that you pay in London.
Excellent breakfast Helpful staff Clean Good location for Hammersmith venues.
Room could have been a bit bigger... but this IS London and space is probably a premium here.
nice room, nice staff,
noisy room, bed was small
