Fantastic breakfast, Luxurious room and bathroom, fantastic views, pure comfort, parking to the rear and free wifi (of course)
Really comfortable bed. Clean and tidy room. Warm welcome from the owner. Excellent cooked breakfast, including black pudding! Nice towels, very tasty biscuits, very tasteful toiletries and a hairdryer.
The location was perfect and the food was great.
lovely location, wonderful room and a really friendly couple. couldn't fault it.
Close to everything. Very helpful, warm and friendly. Mike & Barbara were great hosts. Comfortable, clean and cosy rooms.
Everything is just right, just what I like out of a BnB
Lovely clean room including modern clean on-suite, two comfy leather chairs to relax in. Breakfast kept us going all day. We were lucky to have a bay window to enjoy looking up and down the main road in betws-y-coed.
Nothing we did not like
Fantastic location, clean & well appointed
Great location, heaters are left low so no feeling of damp. Parking no problem.
Upstairs shower pressure was nearly non existent
Just like being at home
The room was fantastic: large, comfortable, and with a great view. The host was very friendly and inviting. Breakfast was excellent.
Loved the location, the breakfast and the fantastic host ! Will definitely visit again. Made our 2 night stay extra special and the restaurant recommendation was fabulous!
The bedroom was very quiet at night, even though it over looked a main road.It is difficult to fault the accomodation and its freindly and helpful staff.Breakfast was very good and a packed lunch was quite substantial and of good valve.
There were several steps to the front of the property and the car park was at the rear, which means that there is steep climb to or from this.Of course there is help on offer with any luggage handling.
Great breakfast, easy access into town with lots of restaurants and some starts to hikes, very friendly and helpful staff, place is kept very clean. A great base to explore Snowdonia from.
Located on the main road in town with some street noise, but this did not affect sleep as the town quiets down.
Very relaxing and comfortable.
Didnt stay long enough!
Room #3 is spacious and nice; Mike is an excellent host giving good advice on dinner in town and outings. Breakfast was a treat: lots of fresh fruit, rich bread and good coffee (they also do cooked Welsh breakfast).
Traffic can be a bit noisy, but quieted down by 900pm
early finish for breakfast.
We liked the location as it was central to all of the main sightseeing venues, the mountains and local towns. Bed comfortable and bathroom clean with good facilities. The Bistro in the town is excellent. The host gave really helpful hints and had good local knowledge. Breakfast very nice too.
View not great from the top upstairs window other than that everything else was good.
The owners were really nice and helpful. Only too pleased to be of assistance. The breakfast was excellent - as much as you want and a good choice.
The only issue was we were on the top floor and the shower pressure was a bit disappointing.
Comfort, TV, Breakfast
Suggestion : mark the gate better from the top parking as I went to two other houses before I found the right entrance to Afon.
From the minute we arrived till leaving Mike and Barbara made us feel very welcome the whole place was spotless. We stayed in the luxury double room the bed was unbelievably comfortable as were the chairs in the bay window where we sat and enjoyed the wonderful views. Cleanliness in the en suit was superb and very modern, it even had a large bath ideal to relax in after a day of walking. The food was excellent and the choice of breakfasts was very good. I will be definitely going back.
Friendliness, excellent breakfasts, cleanliness, central location.
All the comfort needed for a good night's stay with clean and well presented facilities. Very nice breakfast, and lounge space to flop in for a half hour or so.
Might have liked a hair drier. Wifi a bit spotty in room but very good in lounge. Access to car parking bit steep in rear.
We loved the welcome that Barbara gave us showing us to the smart, spacious relaxing room. The breakfast was delicious and plenty of it - compliments to the cook! So handy for the great restaurants and pubs in the village too. Can't fault it - 10/10!
