A lovely nights stay
All of it
Breakfast and the room were good
The matrasses in the bunk beds in room 3 were really uncomfortable. The kids refused to sleep in them so the adults had to.
All round good
Friendly Staff Clean rooms Great Breakfast Staff knowlegable about the local area
Pat was lovely. She went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable. As I had not long had an op I had trouble in swallowing so she made me kippers & scrambled eggs for breakfast. Room was great had en suite bathroom & a fridge with a large jug of cold milk to go with the tea & coffee which was also provided. Toiletries & fluffy towels also provided. You pre order your breakfast so that you have exactly what you what. There was cereals, prunes or grapefruit to start then you could tick off each individual item for the breakfast either large or small. Then there was toast with either jam or marmalade. A large jug of fresh orange was provided & you could also have tea or coffee which was given in large pots. We were given a parking permit so didn't have to pay for that. All in all a fabulous stay at a great hotel with a wonderful landlady who I would class as one of my friends. Thanks Pat. See you next year
The location was fantastic and the owner and her son were very welcoming. The large breakfast set us all up for the day.
The mattresses in the family room weren't very comfortable for the kids and the adults mattresses were quite squeaky
We always book chain hotels for our weekends away and usually would only speak to the receptionist on booking in and out. This place is brimming over with hospitality. The rooms are spotless with all the added extras you would expect from one of the major chains. A hearty breakfast provides a good start to the day. You have certainly changed our opinion of the smaller family run hotel.
Everything from the polite and lovely owners to the hotel itself there was no faults at all and the 2 beautiful cats what they owned the breakfast was superb and the room was so spacious smashing stay.
outstanding breakfast, too good, could have stayed longer just for that.
the family room was lovely, partitioning door to kids room ideal and they were very comfy. very impressed
everything was fab, the only negative was the mattress which was down to springs and very uncomfortable, couldnt have slept more than one night on it
Excellent stay in lovely homely accommodation. the landlady was friendly and helpful and made us very welcome. The breakfast was lovely too. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.
