basement makes me feel depressed There is no refund as i did not wanna spend second night. I went back to stay home for second night without any refund. The pics do not match the real room.
location and cleanliness
noise - ground floor room, no sound separation from reception, poor sound separation from outside, lack of privacy, without curtains permanently drawn.
Good simple Continental breakfast, replenished as necessary. Easy to get to central London for sightseeing, theatres etc.
It was quite close to the Victoria Station.
The reception guy that welcomed us on the first night was little polite, not to say rude. Clients should be treated with more respect. And a horrible thing about the stairs !!!! There is no lift in a four-store hotel !!!! We were given a room on the third floor and climbing the steep stairs with a suitcase is a nightmare !!!! Not willing to come back !!!
Needed a room with 3 beds in striking distance of central London at a reasonable price including breakfast, clean and well-staffed. Airways met all expectations and more. Will certainly use it again and hope there is a vacancy.
No complaints. The locality does involve some walking to the nearest tube (about 15 minutes) but not a problem if you are fit.
Location. Size of room and bathroom. Bathrooms were clean.
Breakfast was OK, but food hygiene rate was only 3! A fee was frozen on my card and then I had to pay again to release that fee. So basically I had to have twice of the actual fee in my account to pay the hotel fees.
Location was what I wanted
No lift my first night I was on the fourth floor next day I was moved down into the basement which was better than all those stairs.
I like the facilities and convient location.
Good location & value for money..
Rooms are below ground level.
Very friendly. . On our arrival our room was not ready, they offered us another room but before making the choice allowed us to view first room.. Breakfast there was no toast left the young girl went to get some, as our room is over the corridor from breakfast we take it back to the room and when the toast was ready the young girl bought it to the room..a lovely touch.. This is the second stay and will book again.
The shower needs redoing a bit worn..
Location, 5 mins from Victoria station and you can walk to many locations
Great location good service
Noise from street no double glazing
Good location for travelling or walking to the city
No lift so a room on 4th floor was not suitable and we had to move. This information should be clear on the booking site so travellers can decide if the hotel is suitable for them.
Very clean Great staff Location Excellent value
No lift Iron and board were tiny
Plenty of restaurants nearby 24hrs reception. WiFi very good. Location good
Bathroom much too small. Breakfast room tiny no tea. Very noisy guests
no elevator, some of the staff are not nice, noisy internally as the celling is wood!
The location was excellent - within a 5 minute walk of Victoria coach station . There are several restaurants, pubs, supermarkets and kiosks and other shops within a 2 minute walk of the hotel. The staff was polite, efficient and very helpful. Check in was seamless. Breakfast was basic but enough .
The rooms are tired, the furniture is cracked and peeling. The balcony doors did not have a lock , they were held together by 2 screws and a chain. There were cobwebs on the ceiling .
The area and how close it was to the tube station, the WiFi was good
The bedsheets had hairs and stains on them, the shower had dirt and mold in it (tiles and door) it also had hairs and old shower gel on the wall from a previous person. The toilet in the room was broken (it wouldn't flush and it was constantly draining all the time) the corner of the bathroom (behind the door) had black dust and horrible mold, the plug socket behind the table had exposed wiring (very dangerous for our small children) the tv was broken slightly (the sound kept popping on and off) and the walls had marks on them and also a drill hole, the room was 301 we complained and got moved into 201 which was slightly better.
Location. Coffe making facielities in room. Clean room.
Super small room. For two person even difficult to move around, basicly just a place for sleep. Too expensive for such size of room as there are excactely same room types in this area for less money. Reserved one day payment prior, however on arrival charged again seperate amount of money for two day stay. That money still as reserved, waiting for return (hopefully).
Fantastic location near Victoria Station, small but perfectly clean rooms, working Wi-Fi. Sure, there is no elevator, but they kindly offer themselves to carry your luggage.
Breakfast is poor: low quality, little variety, crowded room.
Poor internet connection
Room not ready staff hovering while we ate breakfast rushing us out toilet cistern running all night dirty walls and floors WILL NOT BE RECOMMENDING THIS HOTEL
i liked the place, very convenient and affordable.
the room so small
