Choice of breakfast En suite Peaceful Christian atmosphere
Lack of wall light Lack of light over mirror TV too big for dressing table - I'd be happy to dispense with it
The Guesthouse was within 10 minutes walk from Salisbury Cathedral. I needed to leave by 8.30 am on Sunday and was able to enjoy a Full English Breakfast before I paid what I thought was good value for money.
Driving in Salisbury with all the traffic and one way streets when busy is a nightmare!!
It was great. The breakfast, the staff, etc.
It had shared bathroom. It must've said it in the fine print when I was doing the booking, but I missed it.
Fast wifi, good beds, safe parking, excellent breakfast.
Breakfast was fresh.
A bit tricky to get to.
Good breakfast Free parking nice welcome
Lack of en suite and no bathrobes provided No biscuits with tea and coffee Mattress had seen better days and needs replacing I have stayed in better b and bs for £10 a night less with en suite shower and toilet Also Tv was very small
rooms with no ensuite bathroom was just too expensive compared to other B&B houses.
It was clean, staff was helpful and breakfast was great.
Excellent staff. Very friendly and helpful
Separate bathroom. Rooms with bathroom were available and would look to choose these for a future visit
This is a great place to put your head down off a night. As long as your not expecting a resort you can't go past this.
The staff were helpful, nice enough place to sit outside
A fair walk to town centre, but not too far
Not far from the centre. Pleasant, peaceful atmosphere. Nice breakfast.
When they mean you have to be there between 4 and 6 pm to register they really mean it. Come at a different time and you will have some trouble getting in.
Bedroom windows were looking into the lounge/diner, unable to open blinds as everyone would see into room. Bathroom dirty, door didn't close, bed lumpy and uncomfortable.
really nice place to be
ono minor problem was one of the curtains was of the rail
The breakfast was good and the service was precise and efficient. Parking a bit tight but at least you were of the main road. Easy access to Salisbury town centre and the cathedral. Very good value for money.
Very secure parking. Lovely view of Salisbury Cathedral from my bedroom window. Friendly atmosphere at three large tables for breakfast.
Once, it took me five attempts to operate the automatic gates. The mushrooms were undercooked.
We loved the cleanliness. The staff was very nice and friendly. We loved the way we could let the staff know what we would like for breakfast and they would great us with our breakfast the next morning. Thank you for a lovely stay.
The room was very small with not a lot of moving around room and we had thought the showers would be in our bath. We needed to wait a few minutes to take a shower. In hindsight, the little things we didn't think we liked just added to the charm and we hope to stay again.
The shared shower/bathroom could have been awkward, but the fact that there was also a toilet downstairs and a washbasin in the room, was a positive.
Value for money Close to town Good security
Smelt a bit musty Some rotting wood
Ground floor room, quiet location with parking and access to garden. Very helpful friendly staff.
Very lumpy mattress
flexibility of booking peaceful garden friendliness of staff
Clean, quiet, wholesome atmosphere, friendly staff.
The house has a very pleasant, peaceful air. It is in part intended as a place for retreat and meditation and is admirably arranged for that. I enjoyed an excellent night's sleep and a good breakfast.
