Very friendly welcome, super clean facilities , met nice people at the breakfast table and the weekend cooked breakfast was just delicious, big thank you to the kitchen staff!! When ever we come back we'll definitely try to stay there again!!
Homely friendly and welcoming
Staff were great, breakfast plenty of choice plus full English breakfast. Rooms clean & tidy.
Had booked for full English Breakfast. Was given continental and only informed of the Breakfast Change when I checked in. If I had know the full English Breakfast option had changed in advance would have booked somewhere else.
The breakfast in this hotel was great. Most importantly, I felt very welcome in this hotel. Both host and hostess are very talkative and nice.
The stair was a little steep.
Parking, room size, continental breakfast that suited me
On a main road that is noisy.
Easy accessibility from the city. Staff pleasant and friendly. The full English breakfast was better than expected.
Being woken up from sleep in the middle of the night by the fire alarm (26/09/14). My sleep was completely ruined since I could hardly go to sleep again after the incident
Breakfast was excellent. I appreciated the fresh fruit.
road noise general poor quality of bedroom furnishings tired decoration The place is in need of investment to improve the quality of accommodation
good location for the stadiums(dogs and football).plenty of pubs, shops and eateries nearby.
just a bit too expensive for a single room at £30.
good shower nice breakfast nice staff
steep stairs (OK for young and fit people) noisy main road (OK if you're a good sleeper) smell of cigarette smoke coming from downstairs through bathroom window
Cheap Located far from the town but tram stops were close Really quite during night
Not very clean, towels looked dirty.
The fact that they said Full English Breakfast, without telling you that it was only at weekends. Continental from Monday to Friday. Stating car parking, but it held only five cars and if you were the first in, you had to wait for others to move before you could get out. The worst thing was the highly dangerous stairs. Four sets of stairs for 18 rooms, and they were all so steep. Added to that, the treads did not comply with the national standard and you could not put a complete foot on each step unless you went up and down sideways. This was difficult with cases and if you slipped, you would slide all the way down again. So bad for anyone, but especially for disabled or elderly. How on earth they have a health and safety certificate, I will never know!
The owner is super friendly, rooms and bathrooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable.
Parking wasn't great, on a residential street so it was potluck whether you got a space really.
Room 9b as there was a lot of noises coming from the plumbing
Convenience to event at Hillsborough Park was excellent. Bus to and from City Centre was available nearby, and it ran frequently. Sufficient number of restaurants nearby. Staff prepared breakfast to order each morning!
Penistone Road traffic is noisy and incessant, alas.
Very friendly and helpful staff Room and bathroom was clean and tidy Private parking Breakfast Price
The room I had was near the main road which is busy at night, didn't affect me much but if you're sensitive to noise avoid a room facing the road The pillow was more hard than what I'm used to, if you like soft pillows I advise bringing your own
The owners were very helpfull, the room was satisfactory for a short visit.
Did exactly what I needed it to do. It was basic but I just needed a roof over my head for the night at a decent price.
Ideal location only a quarter of a mile from Sheffield Speedway at Owlerton Stadium.
Initially the price
On reflection it should have been priced around £20
the staff there are really friendly.
very narrow parking area.
Staff were very friendly and always helpful.
The stairs were a nightmare! Very steep!!
I went to Sheffield for running at Sheffield Trail Rush 15.2 mile in Graves Park. I enjoyed and I will do back again. Thank you and good luck. Kind Regards Jesus Baltasar Muro Barroso
The mattress wasn't very comfortable and the place wasn't very clean.
Lovely, helpful staff and manager.
It can be a bit noisy, as the B&B is situated on a main road.
Person who did the check-in was friendly. Place was clean. Location was good for what we wanted.
This is supposed to be a bed-and-breakfast. Breakfast was not included in the price - you had to pay £5 extra. There was a charge for using a credit card and this was not shown on the booking form. "Your card may be pre-authorised" meant that they took 25% off prior to the booked date. I would not recommend the place because of these negative points.
