Superb location, just 5 mins from the Liver Building & ferry. The apartment is very well equipped, Sky TV, 10Mg broadband and car parking is via a state of the art car stacking lift. Finding the apartments can be a little tricky as they are mostly private apartments, and the block is no that obvious and although there is a concierge, he is not the same as a hotel concierge, helpful but from a maintenance angle. Everything you need is just around the corner, so very convenient. Only one thing, no shampoo - but remember these are private apartments, so all the toiletries you might expect in a hotel type complex are not provided. Yet washing up liquid and all other household type things are.

Convenient location, great access via public transport, airport bus stop just around the corner. Tesco and Sainsburys just up the road. 10 minute walk to centre of Liverpool. Apartment very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Had a few problems with smoke detectors going off, television playing up and lack of hot water on the last morning. However the owner of the apartment called me when I returned home and apologised. Listened to all my concerns and I am happy to make a return visit soon.

I have stayed at this apartment many times over the last two years and every time I felt like being at home. Recently the white-coloured bed sheets and towels were replaced by dark brown ones which are not appropriate for a hotel! However, during my last visit, one of the towels smelt really bad (like soured milk) and the other one didn't smell much better either.

Apartment in great location with the added bonus of free parking on site. The whole apartment complex is housed in an old cotton sorting building and retains many of its Victorian features. Apartment is tastefully furnished we had No 37 which was on three levels well equipped kitchen. 2 minutes walk to Tesco Express, Sainsbury's Local and on the opposite corner to Moorfields staton very popular sandwich.deli take out. We had two nights break and would recommend the Liverpool Tour Bus leaves Albert Docks every 20 mins price £7.00 each hop on and off at a number of attractions all day. Mersey Ferry and U-Boat exhibition not to be missed. Have coffee at Albert Docks, if in need of retail therapy 'Liverpool One' has all the usual brand names. Great city great people would definately return to this apartment.

Great location and free parking in a very secure stacking unit. We liked the fact that it was an apartment and gave us the freedom to cook our own breakfast etc and the facitilities ie sky tv and free wi-fi are also a bonus. The apartment feels very enclosed as the windows open up onto very high buildings so you can't see the sky... The apartment block is in a lovely building but the interior is very soul less. The bed really needs a new mattress as the current one is extremely uncomfortable and worn. The linen on the bed is also of poor quality.

We chose to stay here for the location - we came here for my husband to call into his Liverpool office (literally next door) and me/my daughter to visit family. I remember the Albany from 25 years ago when it was an office building so it was interesting to come back and see it as it is now. The apartment itself was lovely - everything worked, it was immaculately clean and in great condition, it felt like stepping into a showhome. The tea/coffee was a nice touch and having the full Sky package kept my husband very happy! The bed was an ordinary 4'6 double - fine for one person to spread out on or 2 skinny minnies but a bit cramped for 2 lardy people sharing - and once we'd laid out the spare bed (fold-out floor cushions) there was very little space in the room. The ensuite was great to have as we were travelling with a small child and the shower was powerful. Hairdryer another nice touch. The concierge was very friendly and helpful and showed us how to work the car stacker - free, private secure parking was a real bonus in the City Centre. The entrance to the courtyard to access the stacker was very narrow, however, so be warned! We would definitely stay here again. Very, very minor niggles - due to the open-plan construction of the apartment, anyone walking around in the bedroom made it sound like the ceiling was falling in. Also our apartment was ground floor and right next door to the entrance to the courtyard for the car stacker - that was very convenient, but meant we experienced a lot of noise from other residents coming in and out, especially late at night.

Beautiful building, well situated within the city, free parking was a big plus, good rates. The particular apartment we stayed in (37) could have been better furnished to just give it that edge. All very bland and the sky box, wifi router and stereo on the floor wasn't great. All it needs is a woman's touch and would take it to a ten out of ten!

The albany apartments were beautiful. Our apartment was lovely and comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipt and we felt at home. Our bedroom was lovely with an ensuite while downstairs we had another bathroom with a bath. The apartment had sky digital and internet.Tesco express as well as sainburys was up the street. We were about five minutes walk from albert dock as well as the main shopping area.

Very comfortable and enormously relaxing. With leather sofas and Sky tv and a comfortable bed. Everything was spotless. And the location was excellent. Local Tesco and Sainsburys nearby. Shopping ditrict is a few minutes walk away. There is no facilities to pay cash upon arrival. The credit card you book with gets pre-authorised the day before your arrival - it does not say this in the description. Also, the cleaner going about cleaning the apartment before I had left and while I was getting my stuff together to leave left an unpleasant memory. She claimed she only "gets paid for cetain hours" or something.

Excellent value for money and a good central location near shops restaurants and all the museums and galleries. An absolutely fantastic place to stay with facilities that far outweigh a hotel. The concierge was a bit off hand but perhaps he was having a bad day!
