The Reception staff were very welcoming and helpful and responded pleasantly and speedily to any request. Also the location was exactly what suited us for the beach, the shops, restaurants and leisure activities we wanted to partake in. Not a great fan of lions! They seem a bit dated now. I think breakfast eggs should be cooked to order not left out keeping warm. |

Efficiently run and the effort being made to smarten the building and the rooms is much appreciated. |

We stayed in a very comfortable sea-view room (although price was high). The staff were very friendly and helpful and food good. The paintwork on the entrance door was really quite disgraceful and was quite off-putting on arrival. We thought this would be a discouragement to anyone contemplating coming in to this hotel. |

Breakfast was very poor, never seen scrambled eggs like that in my life. My partner refused to speak to me for 2 hours for even trying them!! |

The hotel was very comfortable and clean. The meals were first class and the dining room's decor first class and all members of staff were very polite. It was a linedance break and we had a great time we could not fault it, well done and thank you Albany Lions Hotel. There wasn't anything to dislike about the hotel although I did think that it would have been better to have had a chest of draws in the room for small items of clothing and on which the teas maid could stand rather than a table that's sole purpose was for the teas maid. Having said this we coped and had a lovely time. |

Older hotel with some refurbishment which was quite pleasant and good value. Would stay again. The seafront double room I has was quite large and had a fridge along with the usual tea and coffee making facilities. Some noise from adjoining locked double room. |

Staff very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast Its a little on the old side, but was clean. I would highly recommend this hotel. The reason I am answering no to the other reviews, is because some appear to be a little negative. I would not hesitate to return |
