The location of Albany Lodge was right in the centre of Port Rush - really handy to the beach, restaurants and shops. The Albany had geat internet access, comfortable beds, great views and really nice breakfasts. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming and couldn't do enough to help you feel welcome and make sure that you had everything that you needed. I would certainly stay at the Albany Lodge again.

This was a really friendly and helpful guest house. They had loads of good advice for the town. The food they recommended was amazing and they had rose petals and chocolates on the bed when we got there near valentines day. That was really nice. The bed was really comfortable and the whole place was beautifully clean.

Albany Lodge for us was like a home from home. We had a fantastic stay here and enjoyed every minute of it (just a pity we had to go back home again lol) We had a excellent welcoming from Richard, the owner, who on our arrival, informed us that he had upgraded our room for us, which when we entered were just totally blown away with, it was the 4 poster bed room which had the best views ever out over the beach etc After having a fantastic nights sleep, we headed for breakfast which totally exceeded our expections too as service was brilliant and very quick. Food was probably the best breakfast we've had in a long time while staying away. Cudnt fault Albany Lodge on anything, great break away. We will definitely be staying again and recommending to our friends and family.

The view from our suite was amazing. The owner was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and warm and the breakfast was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. The surrounding area was superb with glorious beaches, coves and rugged coastline with lots to do and see. There was no car park but we did not have a problem finding safe parking nearby. There were lovely Bistros and cafes nearby with a good menu choice. Local shops in the little town for anything you might need.We would not hesitate to come back. An earring that I mislaid in the room was found and returned to my home address before I got home. Thank you!!!! There was nothing about Albany Lodge that we didn't like. The only improvement that we could suggest is that the room fridge was quite noisy and did wake us up a couple of times each night. I think we would have preferred to not have it and I am sure that had we asked the owner would have taken it out as he was soooo helpful but it was not so bad that we felt compelled to ask him.
