When Looking For Somewhere To Stay In Blackpool With My Daughter & Her Dance Partner, I Was Looking For Somewhere Friendly, Clean & Close To The Winter Gardens.. On Arrival We Were Greeted By Denise & Her Lovely Husband Whom Couldn't Do Enough For Us, The Girls Took To Them Straight Away & Loved Them.. Straight Way You Could See They Were Very Clean & Professional.. The Room Was Ideal For Us With En-Suite Bathroom & Clean Fresh Bedding.. Breakfast Was Stunning With Such A Variety Of Foods, Large Portions & More If You Needed It.. The Couple Had Just Taken Over The Hotel But You Would Never Had Guessed, I Would Recommend This Hotel To Anyone Staying As A Family Or Just On Their Own & They Offer Cracking Deals, We Are Due To Go Back In February For Another Dancing Competition & The Albert Hotel Is Our Choice Of Hotel...

The Water Was A Little Cold But The Hotel Is Under New Management After 3 Days..

It is in the centre of town close to shops and entertainment.

The bar being in a den downstairs. Double room too small, but adequate for one person.

the tv wouldnt work and the room was a little cold when i come in at night time but other then that it was ok would be better if they left radiator on x

We were unsure as to whether there was a pool table and bar as advertised as it wasn't pointed out or obvious.

There were 6 of us all girls, we had a great time the hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. Would definetly stay there again

It just suited our needs which was just a room for an overnight stay. It was close enough to the front and there were no stag or hen parties there.

If we were staying for a longer period then I think I would look for a hotel that boasted more spacious rooms, but as I say for one night overstay if was okay. The hotel lacked a lift but that did not bother us but if my husband would have come too he would have difficulty managing all the steep stairs.

The staff was friendly and the breakfast was nice.

They messed up my rooms and sold the ones I originally booked so I didn't get the rooms I asked for and the rooms they gave me wasn't as good either, I booked on suites and didn't get it for 1 room so we had to use a shared bathroom which isn't what I wanted, when I arrived the rooms which I got but didnt book where very poor, our sink had a huge crack in it, the wardrobe was broke, the shower wasn't good at all and 1 night we had to wait for hours to actually get hot water, the second room that I booked was the shared bathroom one that we got stuck with and that one didn't even have a wardrobe, the light didn't work properly, the tv didn't work properly and there was one tiny mirror and nothing else.

Great friendly staff, cracking breakfast, very handy location. now has wi-fi in downstairs areas.

the proprieters and staff could not do enough to help you they were excellent, the breakfast was superb,filled you up for the day,WOULD CERTAINLY RECOMMEND

The owner/Staff were extremely helpful and friendly and went out of thier way to make our stay comfortable.

The staff are totally nice and helpful, the room was tiny, but comfortable. Location is great. Prices are fair, value for money. If I decide to go next year, I know where to stay.

Probably because of the weather, wet things wouldnt get dry there for ages... Though Im sure that if I just asked... It'd be ok as well :-)

The staff were very accomodating and friendly. The food was fresh and tasty and the bedrooms were to a very high quality and standard.

The only good things where the food (the breakfast was great every morning) and the staff was friendly. But it all stops there.

It was my fault that I misunderstood shared bathroom when I booked and that was already horrible. To make matters worse there wasn't any place to hang a towel or a pair of pants in the shared bathroom. I wasn't happy to place my stuff on the window sill where a dead fly laid there for about 4/5 days. One of the two shared toilets's flushing did not work properly. There weren't any toilet paper hangers either. The toilet rooms' floors where never cleaned for sure. In my double room I was surprised to not even have a waste bin. I found one after the third day, which was taken from one of the shared toilet rooms and was left without a bin. This bin was emptied only once. TV and Wifi did not work properly and there were no wall plugs, but just a multiple plug hanging from below the TV set. There were 3 little cushions on my bed, whose look I did not like and seemed they hadn't been cleaned for a long time. I could have done without them on my bed. The sink's water tap in my room was really hard to turn and again was never cleaned during my 9 day stay. The sign in my room said not to make noise when you got into the room, but all the floor shook when someone just walked by. Really not sure what was refurbished here. The worst thing was with the towels. I was never given fresh towels during my 9 day stay. I asked for a fresh one and the guy told me he had left the used towels over the wall heater, which I had already placed on the floor for changing. Not really sure how many times English people wash in a week, but this surely isn't my idea of cleanliness. I had even used both little soaps and was never given a third. I did not expect much for the price, but two years ago I was also in Blackpool and for a cheaper price the room was much better, with a small private bathroom and everything.
