The staff were pleasant and not fussy or intrusive. The room provided everything I could need for a short stay. The location was ideal for my purposes (easy walking distance from rail station, also close to town centre) |

Our room had been recently refurbished (or so it appeared), so was very pleasant and had all the facilities we needed. The staff were helpful with answers to our queries on the area. our room, on the first floor, was directly above the kitchen, so we were woken quite early by activities below. The room was too warm for our liking and had no simple way of making it more comfortable |

walking distance to town, clean rooms, comfortable, breakfast excellent. value for money! went into room after lunch to find 4 people standing in there looking at my shower (tradesman i believe) not given any notice, felt it to be very instrusive. |

No personal greeting from owner, in fact, did not meet owner at all. Seemed to be run by teenagers, the only people we saw and dealt with. Room 16, our mattresses were lumpy & could feel springs. Room on main road, woken up by road works ealry. No vegetarian breakfast option. |

Organising the stay couldn't have been simpler. I’m a disabled traveller, and was concerned about the accessibility of the guesthouse and its facilities. Alison telephoned me and was able to allay any concerns I had. I knew I couldn’t get to the guesthouse before 21:30hrs so I rang to let Alison know; she was fine about it, and gave me clear instructions on what to do when I arrived. I was given a room on the ground floor; there was only 1 shallow step to negotiate getting into the building, the room was spacious warm and very inviting. Getting in and out of the shower will be ok if you’re able to manage the step up into the enclosure and back down again. I’m a bit on the tubby side, but had plenty of room in the shower. Breakfast was lovely; the atmosphere in the dining room was relaxed and happy, not a grumpy face to be found. Will definitely stay there again when visiting Hereford. |

Near the City. THe vegetarian breakfast was terrible. It consisted of beans and tomato which was cold. No mushrooms, hash browns, fried slice, No choice at all for vegetarians. |

Staff very pleasent and the room was clean and tidy with space. Bathroom very clean. Bed was exremley uncomfortable. No decent eating places nearby and nowhere decent open on Sunday. Advised to try the local beefeater, did not realise it was a thirty minute uphill walk.We could have stayed at the premier inn attatched and saved ourselves a lot of bother. |

The hotel seemed to have been recently refurbished and the decor, bathroom and breakfast were of a good quality. The bed was incredibly hard. This rather spoilt our trip as our back pain woke us up every couple of hours. It seems as if they have skimped when it came to the cost of the bed/mattress. |
