Score from 23 reviews Very good
bed poor, too expensive for service offered and received
Location was sleazy. Room was small and overcrowded. Staff were indifferent
The location was good
Absolutely awful breakfast, about £1's worth of food on the plate and I had to pay an extra £10 per person for the privilege. Also we weren't allow to sit by the window although the breakfast room was empty! Let the stay down to be honest!!
Lack of Air-Conditioning
The view was lovely, the staff were friendly and happy, the room was clean
There wasn't anything to do nearby so my partner done a lot of driving and wasn't aware how expensive red funnel the ferry was and a shame the pool wasn't heated or the jacuzzi as would have spent our time in their
Location Superb Quality of Rooms Superb Transportation Links Superb Low or Negligible Noise Environment Breakfast worth paying for
Cost of Meals at Night Excessive for what you get
Fantastic location, clean and comfortable
Location excellent for beach, views and walks Room good size, clean and comfortable.
Staff attitude on reception-very "Fawty Towers" like. For example apparently impossible to have dinner unless booked in morning as "chef is stretched and also needs to know in advance what to order in" No place within 1.5 miles for other meals in evening-and then very limited choice. Not good if you do not have a car.
Our room price helpful staff
Wifi does not work outside decoration neglected Strict regime in the Resturant where to sit Only orange juice in breakfast why not water too
All the staff were very helpful the manager was great character and deserves to be complimented.
Lovely room to back of hotel, no sea view but didn't pay for one, Hotel does have a pool so remember your swimsuit and make use of it. Relaxed hotel with friendly staff.... on the whole, for the price it was good.
English Breakfast was the bare minimum, there is a good café just down the road that does a lovely breakfast 7 days a week that is a better choice for eating.
Good, clean swimming pool. Comfortable room. Good, big bathroom.
Exterior decor needs work. Breakfast was small and not great quality.
Location location location
Externally in need of a bit of tlc
Ground floor room, obviously no balcony and didn't like to leave window open over-night. Therefore quite hot in the room.
Well located with good facilities.
Food is over-priced.
The location was beautiful
Bar had hardly any drinks and no one serving Coffee in room was like brown water no taste Reception was hardly manned Room was dark and dingy TV only worked on one channel Breakfast was £11 per head but when we enquired about times we were told we hadn't booked
The location. the area was peaceful and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were inviting, clean and had everything you needed for a comfortable evening.
Because it was a quiet location, local shops and restaurants were a good 30 minute walk away but taxis were readily available.
staff were friendly and the special dinner price was excellent value. Rooms were comfortable.
The hotel is a little tired and understaffed.
Room excellent Staff pleasant housekeeping excellent . Good location , nice pool .
Bar and reception very often unmanned .Breakfast very meagre and little choice and definitely not worth price hence we didn't risk evening meal .
The Manageress. Very friendly and helpful and also very attractive!!
location, rooms, cleanliness,room services.
lack of signage around hotel, i.e.way to restaurant, pool. lack of teabags, toilet paper in rooms. staff not always easy to find on reception, hence a lot of waiting around
Food serving time is too short , and try to clarify to customer the opening time
The staff were charming and helpful. Our room was clean, well maintained and exceptionally spacious. Fabulous views from the hotel.
The hotel is a big ugly building which spoils an otherwise lovely beach-side location.
Well appointed rooms - spacious and clean. large bathrooms with shower and bath. Sea view rooms are a bonus with balconies you can easily sit on. Indoor swimming pool with adjacent jacuzzi. Regularly maintained and clean. Ample parking. helpful staff. good breakfasts.. regukaryvvery clean Swimmi and sip a G&T whilst over
On the sea front, the hotel has taken a battering from the winter storms and there was little evidence of undertaking repairs but having said that, all the damage was external.
