The gentleman at reception was available by phone and gave me good advice when I could not find the place; he was very friendly and helpful. I had booked this hotel, because I thought there was a bath in the bathroom, but on;y had an electric shower, which did not get properly warm; this was really disappointing, as I had rushed there to get in before the 10 pm closing time (another fact I would not expect from a hotel); as a guest house, Albion would be well acceptable, but if one pays hotel prices, the expectations are a little higher. I was glad that I got it on a deal and not the usual room price.

Stayed for 1 night with my partner - picked the hotel as it was closest to 'The Stand' Comedy club. Location was perfect. The room was lovely, cosy and comfy, excellent shower. Staff very helpful. We would definately book again. On street parking - we did not get up in time to renew the ticket and incurred a parking fine!

Very good weekend,at a very nice hotel.thanks too all the staff for making us so welcome. No complaints.....just a bit disappointed having lived in england for 11yrs,but orig from scotland, that I had a traditional english breakfast instead of scottish.no potato scones...and link sausage instead of square.that apart the food was very very enjoyable.

The accessibility from the nearest subway station is good and the place of the hotel is very quiet and safe. The hospitality of the staff was nice and the breakfast (full English beakfast) was also wonderful. Unfortunately, the wireless LAN system was sometimes unstable, but free of charge.

Albion was a cut above basic, and offered reasonable value for money. The staff was friendly and professional. I think a modest continental breakfast could be included in the room rate, with a surcharge for a full breakfast. Overall, however, I was extremely pleased with the hotel. I liked the fact that there was a small bar and access to basic sandwiches at a reasonable price. Would like basic directions (cross street Great Western) included with the confirmation, as I started out at the opposite end of Woodside and spent a great deal of time making my way back to the appropriate end.
