We stayed for the Tuesday and Wednesday. The Tuesday/Wednesday morning experience was just as we remembered first class, friendly and a beautifully freshly cooked breakfast. The Wednesday/Thursday morning experience following a change of staff on reception was okay, the breakfast was slightly disappointing when compared to the previous day. The duty manager had a more dishevelled appearance and was not around when we came down for breakfast and did not appear until somebody rang the reception bell. The sausages and bacon had clearly been cooked some considerable time before and the toast was cold and slightly stale, not a deal breaker but just disappointing compared to the previous morning.

An excellent value stop over hotel set in a nice street near Glasgow's up and coming West End. Good breakfasts and range of rooms well set out and one min walk from tube station - with a six min link into city centre . Coffee:Tea facilities in room and good tv plus hair dryer etc as well as good range of restraints in area on main road . Prysiau rhrsymol Iawn efo Croeso da gan y staff. Ddim Lolfa neu llift ond brecwast bendigedig. Agos Iawn ir Tube : canol y dinas. No lift and fairly steep stairs in this row of fine city terraced houses that make up the Hotel but that's it's charm. Weekend nights can be noisy - so ask for a top floor room at back then and no A/c but fans provided for the summer

Location fantastic, literally 2 minute walk to Kelvinbridge Subway station. Excellent staff on check in. Upgraded to an apartment free of charge. Spacious apartment, lovely old detailed ceilings and decor. Comfortable beds. Noisy guests through the night and as we were right next to the front door, noise was made worse. Saturday night so I guess to be expected but still not great. Apartment really cold and even with 2 heaters, still too cold. Needs much bigger heaters in order to give out heat as ceilings are so high up and it's a huge space to try to heat up. Shower not the best.

Great location, close to the Kelvinsbridge Subway, and walking distance throughout the West End, really the best place in Glasgow to stay.

Hotel staff was very friendly. Hotel was close to station. Rooms were nice and hotel was well decorated. The bed on top floor is not comfortable. It is almost touching the roof. There were no windows. It was painful until we found that we could open the roof for fresh air. To be precise the room was not comfortable and it does not justify the cost.

The Albion Hotel was in an interesting section of Glasgow with restaurants nearby. It was also very close to the subway which made for easy access to the center of the city. The single room was quite small but did serve its purpose.

Very friendly helpful reception - shown to my room and care taken to explain everything. It's very easy to get to as only about 200 m from a Glasgow Subway station (Kelvinbridge) so very quickl to get to from city centre. Very pleasant area too with good cafes and restaurants near. Room was comfortable and clean and had everything I needed and, very importantly, the hotel was quiet at night! Can't really think of anything.
