The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was excellent. The room was comfortable although quite small. The bathroom was clean and the bed was comfortable.
My room was at the front and there was a bright streetlight shining into the room which made sleep a little disrupted.
The location near to park, shops, cafes, underground station, park, free wi-fi. Tea,coffee, fridge in room.
Shabby. Room needed cleaning and decorating. Holes in one of the duvet covers. Poor breakfast. No lounge. Not three star. Not value for money. Understaffed.
location was good for shopping and The Subway. Clean and friendly
everything was good
All above. Excellent, very helpful service, care for the guests, Subway by your doorstep
The area and comfortable rooms offering good value. Of the centre rather than in the centre. Excellent selection of local cafes and restaurants
No fan or a/c in hot weather.
Excellent location just out of the busy city centre with plenty close by.
Our room had a window that opened up to another room! Not outside not good in a hot summer and the tea pot had not been cleaned from the night before.
I was a bit worried as my train was delayed but I was assured that it was no problem however late my arrival. Very helpful and friendly staff.
No mini fridge
i felt that £70 was a bit steep as there was not breakfast i have been going to the albion for years and i stayed for a week a few years ago.on this visit i was very dissapointed we travelled 200 mls to get there and could not even have a cup of tea
Helpful receptionist, good breakfast, excellent location near Kelvinbridge station
Reception closes at 10pm (not obvious)
Nice, big rooms on a silent road. Not too far away from city centre (30 min by foot). A lot of restaurant nearby. also supermarkets and all you will need there.
Staff were friendly and helpful, location good, reasonable value for price paid.
WiFi didn't work too well; attic room seemed to attract fried-breakfast smell; shower could've been cleaner (though to be fair the room itself was satisfactory).
The breakfasts were excellent.
The cushions on the bed.
Good value for money hotel; you get what you pay for. No frills but quiet and comfortable with very friendly, helpful staff.
The location is classed as "fair", not because of the hotel itself but because public transport, especially at weekends is not that frequent. I had no problem walking from the centre but others may not feel the same. As stated, the problem is not actually caused by the hotel, nor can the owners really change those circumstances.
Excellent hotel and special praise for Debbie who was very helpful and such a lovely smile food very very good thank you
We liked location ,bedrooms ,staff .We didn't have breakfast so cannot comment on that.
Very clean comfortable food gorgeous and staff very friendly and welcoming. Would recommend and stay again.
Good location clean fridge in the room
sadly the shower did not work properly and could only be used if hand held. bed side light no bulb. I did not metntion this whilst I was staying there.
Cooperative staff and good breakfast.
Lovely friendly staff, and nice clean room.
The wifi wasn't great, but not a big problem.
Location was good - off main street, near city centre, near Byres road. Very nice staff and welcome. Plenty of parking in nearby streets - free on Sat and Sun and cheaper parking permit available from hotel for weekdays. Room was clean and shower fine and coffee etc available. Didn't bother with breakfast as some nice coffee shops available nearby so variety. Certainly would use as first choice.
Great hotel, very close to tube, restaurants, shops
Breakfast was a bit basic No decaff products
This hotel was in an excellent location. You could park on the street. It was a no through road so no traffic. Staff were very helpful and eager to please. We booked this at the last minute and were not disappointed
Good location in the West End of Glasgow. Handy for restaurants & entertainment. Friendly and helpful staff.
Wi-fi connection didn't work in my room. Slow service at breakfast due to lack of staff.
