Room a lot smaller than photo, ensuite too small, ceiling fan not working, room too hot, constant smell of fried food coming through window, poor quality electrical items, and fittings and fixtures.
Accessible to everything and really good location.
Rooms are too small and toilets are not the clean.
We stayed one night before our Eurostar to Paris. The hotel is one block away. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. The rooms are very small as are the stairs and halls. Carrying luggage was difficult. Beds were very comfy, quiet location.
Size of rooms
Room small Room very hot and stuffy. Fan was provided Sink not in the bathroom Thought breakfast was included in the price but it wasn't Had to ask for cot on arrival even though it was specifically requested on the booking information

No air Too hot inside Too narrow for a family room Unkind staff Poor foor cleanliness Poor quality soap for England No toiletries available
Rooms was very small. No elevator.
Great location, friendly staff. Excellent hotel for a central base for travel around London. Lovely breakfast.
The bedroom was small and the bathroom was tiny! Not much of a problem as we were only there in the evening to sleep.
Excellent location, clean room, good bed.
Room was too stuffy with no ventilation. Was sweating throughout the night.
Location and clean
Stayed in 2 different rooms over a week and the shower leaked in both. Can be noisy also
Beautiful room Complementary wireless Internet Superb customer service Extra space to store luggage in Melville main lobby Recommendations of local dining and sight-seeing located in a booklet in each room
Crampt accommodations Carrying heavy luggage up a narrow staircase Checking-in is not at the same location as where the hotel is physically located
Most of the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. The location is nice: not far from the stations, within walking distance of museums, like the British Museum for instance and there is a small park with fitness machines just outside the hotel. Lovely breakfast room. Nice refurbishment. Very clean. Comfortable beds.
There is no lift and the hotel covers three different locations over the square. The room was a bit cramped. The breakfast staff surely did their best, but we have had better, less overcooked stuff. Th shower floor is a bit slippery.
bed no air conditioning
Clean, good location
Very small room
The location was good the wifi was good.
room was v small, bed was way too soft and only had a duvet, all I needed was a top sheet but there was none. the provided toiletries were v basic. there are nicer hotels for the same price in the vicinity. no breakfast onsite I was actually given a room in the Melville hotel not the Albion
Good location close to train station Fairly Clean Private bathroom Budget
Located in a different building up the block and looked NOTHING like the pics online. Check in staff completely disinterested /unwelcoming . No air con / no fan .
Great place to stay so close to kings cross and neighbourhood really nice and clean. Staff so helpfull we arrived early and they accommodated us with only a 15 min wait.
We were in basement room 2 some noise from above but bearable.
Well situated not far from St. Pancreas station. Staff at the reception friendly and helpful.
Very small, dark room/bathroom for 3 people in basement. Very poor breakfast.
Location was good, all you can eat breakfast for £7 is excellent for central London. Bed was very comfy
The shower didn't work properly, a lot of outside noise got into the room
Friendly and helpful reception staff.
The hotel was really close to the subway station and the staff was friendly
Room was really small and since there was no a/c I was burning up also the wifi was really slow
Free wifi Good location-quiet area
Arrived at 5pm to be told room had a fault and wouldn't be ready till 6pm (says can check in at 2pm) 4 hours late!!! Small double room was ridiculously small no space to move should not be advertised for 2 people, staff were rude, room was ridiculously hot to be told there were no fans available so could not sleep! Bathroom was so small there was no room between toilet, sink and shower so after a shower the room was soaking wet.
breakfast was quite nice.
though i requested rooms on the same floor, we were separated. staff was courteous but not friendly.
good location and quiet despite being near kings Cross station, clean and comfortable
only slight issue was the room was very hot even with a fan on all night
