Easy access to train stations and decent decor
Cleanliness was completely lacking. Had to cover my hands with a tissue to use the remote to avoid touching filth. There was also a really overpowering strange smell, I had the window open all night to try and bare it.
Very quiet, staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location. Would definately stay here again. Five minutes from kings cross/st pancras and underground, value for money.
The location is very good. It's near King's Cross.
The room is so small, especially the bathroom. I always knock myself on the wall, because of the tiny bathroom. There are some pigeons, so I feel noisy in the midnight.
Very close to kings cross station, staff was friendly.
You should not expect the big room of course. We just talked with a normal voice, but the wall was quite thin, so the lady next door came to complain even before 22:00!! You can hear everything of your toilet and your neibours. The shower head is set to the ceiling, so quite difficult to wash properly. I was wondering why they chose this.... Of course no lift, so we should have carried our suits case to 2nd floor through very narrow staircase. Very tiny bed.
Location to St Pancras railway station
No lift for people on upper floors
Lovely design very clean, amazing value
A little small - but well priced!!
first i think the boss have to be more polite to customer and his staff second the hotel which have been seen in online is not that good in real three hotel served wifi but it was not linked well sometimes it doesnt work four coffee port was so dirt there s some dirts in that port the thing is that i want to offer other traveler to find other fine hotel
The heating is not warm enough and only worked for one night during my stay.
The location of the hotel i would say was the only good thing
The rooms were very small not spacious at all. On both days we were staying there the shower went off midway showering and the room was not clean, grime in the shower cubicle
Really handy location for getting around london. Good use of room space
No hot water in the morning despite complaining the first night Also requested additional pillows as those provided were poor, request not fulfilled
just think it's expensive for what it is !!!
Everything location fab and staff went above and beyond
The closeness to the underground....
When we arrived we had to wait 4 hrs to go in to our room we were there to celebrate my daughters birthday and were told they wud up grade!!! If that was an up grade then I wud defo not book again. Then at 9 am the cleaner came to clean our room we were under the impression checking out was at 11am. Very disappointed .
Good service and rooms are just wat we needed, breakfast was lovely too!! Cheap and cheerful.
Floors needed washed and an iron in each room wud be very helpful.
The hotel was very close to Kings Cross on a quiet square. We booked a 3 bed room and got a little 2 bedroomed flat. Very clean, decorated nicely and cosy. Staff were friendly and helpful. The colourful hotel at the top of the road did a lovely breakfast. Would go back.
WiFi wasn't available and there was no notice giving a code or any help.
Good value for money for a late booking and in close proximity for my required venues. Comfortable room and bed and well aired but plenty of warmth.
Lack of info for breakfast
The fact it's so close to kings cross tube was about its only redeeming feature It was clean to be fair and the bed although small had there been two of us was comfy enough. Apart from some people coming in around midnight and the constant sound of the rain thro the open window it was pretty quiet given its location. If you want a cheap hotel near kings cross it's ideal.
I had booked into Albion House and arrived just before 10pm to find I couldn't get access. I had to go to a different hotel the other side of the square. The receptionist was not very friendly and when I asked about the resturant ( they serve breakfast) I was told there wasn't one! I was then taken to a 3rd hotel further down the square and when I questioned this I was told all 3 were the same. It was dark the signage was only in English so if you couldn't read English I could see it being very confusing trying to find the reception in a different hotel , also it was raining so by the time I eventually had gone from building to building I was soaked. I was presented with a set of keys but not told what they were for and ok I could work it out but being informed would have made it a bit easier considering they were colour coded. I was not told whether I could take breakfast in the morning as I hadn't booked it on line. The window was open behind shutters that didn't open the room was freezing although it did heat up when I turned on the radiator and the towel rail. But that's because the room was so small!
The location of this hotel was brill as it was only a 5 min walk from Kings Cross station. The room was plenty big enough for my husband, 13 yr old daughter and I. It was clean and most of the staff were very helpful. Not only would I stay here again but I have strongly recommended to friends and family.
The other guests were quite noisy when coming in late at night even though there was a sign on the door asking for the door to be closed quietly. There were no extra pillows in the room. The breakfast room and reception were in the sister hotel across the road but literally took a minute to walk across. The breakfast was very small and the eggs were slightly undercooked but all these things are being very picky.
Room size was good , shower, was good with hot water , had iphone charger in (fitted 4s)
we had room in the basement which was rather clostraphobic as no windows to outside apart from a small one at back which looked onto a brick wall . there is no reception at this hotel - it is at the melville 50 yards away , noisy drunken drugged up people in room next door and family with children running around above made it noisy - tv remote didnt work ,
the location of this hotel was excellent and it was very convenient. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. It was very clean and well Kept. Would definitely stay again!
value for money.
Everything else apart from the shower!, from 8am onwards the staff we're so noisey that they woke me up after a busy day the day before, the towel rail was off the wall, the ipod dock didn't work, the kettle was broken, the tea bags were mank and it was so pokey me and my mate might aswell have slept in harry potters cupboard under the stairs! never again am i staying there!
No shaving point in the room
location and staff.
breakfast was pritty small but still ok
This hotel was very handy, not only for the railway stations, but for London generally. The rooms were small but had everything you would want for a weekend in London and were well decorated and carpeted. Let's face it, you're there to see London, not mope around the hotel bedroom! I found the staff helpful and they were able to look after my luggage whilst I continued to explore on the Sunday. I will stay here again in the future.
