The breakfast was very good. Parking.

The room was very average - too small and something (an extractor fan maybe?) was just below and was on all (or most of) the night. The room, whilst it had everything that was needed was up some poky stairs and nowhere near as good at the travel inn rooms over the road - which should not be the case for a hotel that claims to be of this standard

The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was of a high standard. The hotel is located very near the village and convenient for a stroll to shops and bars.

The bedroom was quite small but the decor was of a high standard. The TV was small and not easily accessible.

My wife and I stayed for out 1st wedding anniversary, after making the hotel aware of the at booking stage they upgraded our room for no extra cost.

Friendly staff. Good food. Nice location. Lovely view from room.

Fantastic Inn--short but memorable stay

The Staff were very helpful and service was very good. Breakfast also very good. Comfortable bed and warm room.

The room we stayed in -41 contained some large pieces of furniture which made the room a bit difficult to get around.

The Restaurant/Bistro are very good and you will likely see a few famous faces. The Hotel is in a good spot and very close to the town centre.

We were in room 44, the sound proofing is amonst the worst I have come across in any Hotel. You can clearly hear normal conversation in the next room. If this starts at 5am it could be a problem for some people.

terrible to have a room one floor above the kitchen so awake till after midnight and from 5 am again....so much for a good night sleep

When we arrived we were greeted and dealt with efficiently at reception.Our room was good,the bed was cosy,it was nice to have tea/coffee available.The bathroom was lovely and the soaps and gels were relaxing (my wife said!),The bar was intimate and service was excellent (we needed some ice to take to our room..no problem!).

It's not what we didn't like,but the breakfast was not as good as we expected,having had such a great stay,the food was tepid,the bacon tough (I think it was not fried but microwaved) and spoiled the breakfast but the staff were really attentive.

Bar and reception staff were lovely. Dinner was exceptional. Location perfect and felt relaxed from the moment I arrived

Room was very small compared to previous stays, with tiny tv and bed. No lift to top floor.

Noise from wedding reception in garden making it impossible to sleep

the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, the room eas clean and itially cold but soon warmed up

Convenient for village and train station and therefore Manchester city centre. Excellent staff, generating a small and friendly feel to the place. Room was small but comfortable for one. Food in the brasserie was good. I will definitely stay here again if the price is right.

Wifi doesn't reach into many of the bedrooms. It can be quite pricey.
