In city Centre . The hotel Easy to find ,very good location.. Xx
I liked how close it was to everything. I thought the apartment was very clean and tidy.
I did find it very noisy late at night and early in the morning.
Clean, modern facilities. Central location, walking distance to supermarkets and town centre
Small car park, limited number of spaces allocated to residents. I requested a larger space as my car was very close to a pillar and hence sticking out. I was told I would get a phone number texted to me to call for an alternative space but this never happened.
Big problem is the noise from the street, traffic and loading/unloading trucks all days (incl. weekend),relatively quiet only from midnight to 6am
The apartment was well situated in the city centre, my wife's parents loved the stay which made a change from the usual hotels and such. The accommodation was very good value for money and would willingly pay a little bit more and have parking included rather than as a separate cost as it looks better when it says secure parking included.
Everything!! & My parents love to be there!! Excellent location, pleasant decoration of the apartment, within 2-5 minutes walk to Sainsbury, Tesco, and other restaurants and university. Staffs were friendly enough though never get a chance to see their face.
the bed was too soft. And we wish we could stay in there for few more days!
Apartment was better than expected and very central in city. Limited parking at apartment could be a problem.
Friendly and helpful staff. Gesture of 'no lift' refund.
No outside window in bedroom - everything online suggested there was a window.
Well equipped apartment, great central location for shopping, restaurants, harbour area.
Lift was out of order but appreciate not the apartment owner's fault.
IT TICKED ALL THE BOXES!
Location was very good and apartment itself was excellent.
The lift would appear to have been out of order for a month. Given that we were on the 5th floor this was not acceptable. Also the apartment was unbearably hot when we arrived. This persisted almost until we left despite turning off all the heating.
Very clean and tidy. Well equipped. Nice views of Bristol. Great shower.
The lift was not working (it had been out of order for some time so be warned). We were up 7 flights of stairs - which was not pleasant given the amount of luggage we had. No recycling facilities. Internet was not reliable.
I stay in there for 8 days no elevator working for the whole period I carried my bags till 3rd floor was very bad experience
The apartment was very homely
Eacalator did not work, could hear everyone in other apartments, poor parking
The central location couldn't have been better
We were on the 4th floor and for our entire stay the lift was out of order. Just so glad we weren't on the 7th floor.
Definitely the location is strategic to the old and new and food ( especially important when having teen children ) . Facilities fantastic - especially appreciate the washing machine and provided detergent!
Apartment was well presented. I chose it for its central location within walking distance of several appointments. Sainsburys Local round the corner is open 7.am - 11.00pm. Handy as I did not arrive till late.
The apartment itself was clean, well equipped and very quiet despite being close to several very noisy pubs you could not hear any outside noise when you were inside.Free WiFi and DVDs were a nice extra a dishwasher and washer dryer were also provided ideal for a longer stay. Cutlery and a fridge and a cooker were also provided which gives you the option to save money eating out. The location is in the city so you benefit from that but the actual location of the apartments is in a high rise office environment and is pretty grey and dull with no aesthetically pleasing views.
The communal stairs were dirty with several dubious looking stains and the lift was the slowest I have ever used it was quicker to walk and we were on the 4th floor the door had a dodgy lock which took several attempts before we were able to lock it and the door at the main entrance had to be pulled shit behind you as it did not lock properly we arrived back several times and were able to walk in without using out security fob so not great security anyone could gain access. Check out is far to early at 10am after a late night out.Our friends who stayed in large hotels with 700 rooms did not have to check out until 12 noon so we had 2 hours to fill feeling very tired and that our stay was cut short by such an early check out. You can arrange a later check out but they charge you £8 an hour which ups the price of your stay. Parking is onsite at £15 a day which is convenient but a very small car park and very tight so if you struggle to park it would be an issue. We also asked for a balcony which should have come with outdoor furniture but we were not provided with any and we were charged £6 extra for this extra. The view form the balcony was of the car park and the wheelie bins where seagulls congregated and faced a huge office building (this is the only window in the apartment )so our plans to eat alfresco on out balcony and save money eating in cafes were not fulfilled as it was a very ugly view and we had no chairs or table outside. We parked in the wrong space and were called continually by Alderman Apartments to move my car which I responded to as soon as I saw the msgs. However the next day when I sent a text querying the lack of outside chairs and table and trying to arrange a later check out time I did not receive a response I rang and left a voice mail too so not impressed with the lack of response. Please note that it is a non smoking building so despite booking a smoking apartment on booking.
Great location, clean and spacious apartment. No noise and the lift worked.
Extra charges such as 4 pounds a night for a cot, 8 pounds for one hour earlier check in. Nowhere to put our bags after check out at 10am.
Great location a couple of minutes from the city centre and harbour side attractions. Also buses to other parts of Bristol and the downs are very close.
The front door to the complex didn't shut very well and we often found it open and unsecured. Not great for security!
The appartment was very clean, spacious, well appointed and very central for enjoying Bristol. Would definitely recommend it and would use it again.
Only very minor quibbles, no shelf in bathroom, they provided a hair drier but no socket in reach of the mirror.
No parking. Expensive early check in. The apartment needs a good clean - the carpet is stained and generally very dirty. It also needs painting - chipped paint and cracks everywhere. Double beds very small.
I was over with a group of lads in our mid to late 20's. Perfect location wise. Two showers was a major plus and two two-seater couches allowed us to sleep 6 in the 2-bed apartment.
The lift broke on the first day we were there and it wasn't fixed by the time we were leaving. Check out was 10am and when I enquired about a late check out (on the Monday) I was told it was not possible.
