The staff were a credit to the hotel

Being put next to two inconsiderate golfers up for the weekend with 28 mates waking us at 3.30 am for an hour

Location, peace and quiet. Lovely building, very characteristic and lovely grounds.

Gym too small, equitpment not working, Changing rooms too small and unclean, steam room out of order, breakfast experience not good, Bar/snack prices way too high for quality of food, lack of staff presence.

Breakfast was excellent Staff were polite Staff behaved well when fire alarm went off

Lovely surrounds and great facilities such as golf, gym and spa. Comfortable room, nice breakfast, character building.

Expensive food in brasserie(although very nice) and drinks in bar. Many of the finishes in room in need of updating(flaking paint, missing tiles in bathroom) . better coffee and tea service in rooms-not enough milks)

The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Room service was very good and efficient. The room had a very large and comfortable bed with a great view of the golf course and countryside.

From the moment we arrived at Aldwark Manor it was a pleasure. The staff were faultless in every area of the Hotel willing to help and above all so friendly which is often hard to find. The room was spacious comfortable and clean. The location was fablous. Overall one of the best Hotels we have stayed at and we do travel a lot on buisness but this one beats them all. I would love to return and experience a spa break there with my daughters.

The hotel is out in the country away from the city centre. Arrived later than expected so did not have chance to use the pool etc. which all looked very good. Had an evening meal which was excellent and the staff were very pleasant. At breakfast had plenty of choice. The room was of a good size and everything was fine.

One thing we noticed chairs in the resturant where covered in crums etc. When the tables were cleaned we noticed the waitress just brushed the bits off the table etc onto the seats. Only a minor point every thing else was very good

It was a very short stay, overnight, the Hotel Building, Grounds and surrounding Area were impressive. However, the Internal, old part of the Building was not impressive. The room we stayed in was in the old part of the hotel which was small & uncomfortable small, the Bathroom was very dated and tired. It was not value for money.

Cleanliness was very poor throughout the hotel, our room was not ready until 3.30 and the hotel was far too hot.
