Alendale Guest House is located just off Weymouth’s esplanade, a pleasant short walk from the shops and restaurants of the town centre. Free Wi-Fi and free parking is available. The Grade II listed, Georgian building has comfortable guest bedrooms equipped with a flat-screen TV, an en suite bathroom, generous hospitality trays and ironing facilities. A member of Direct from Dorset, a locally sourced breakfast is served from a menu which offers more than just full English breakfast. Guests can choose from a wide range of cereals, fresh fruit salad, yoghurts, optional Scottish extras, smoked salmon and locally sourced kippers. Special diets can be catered upon prior request. Weymouth Rail Station is just 500 metres from the property and Weymouth Ferry Terminal is less than a mile away. The famous Chesil Beach is less than 4 miles away and is part of the Jurassic Coast - an UNESCO World Heritage Site. This was a excellent place to stay as it was right across the road from the beach. The guest house clean, warm and comfortable. Clive and Lesley were the perfect hosts - nothing was too much trouble for them.

On arrival we as in the group received a warm welcome, we were offered the choices for breakfast as some of the menu required fresh goods, we were advised of the choices of pillow available and as a keen photographer places of interest and recommended restaurants to visit, which we did. the amenities were close as was the beach. It was only a weekend break.

Lesley & Clive were very welcoming and friendly hosts. Good choice for breakfast. Nice personal touches, such as toiletries, a surprise easter treat & spare pillows in the wardrobe were much appreciated. Excellent location close to town. Would recommend staying at Alendale & we would stay again.

The owners could not do enough to please us, if there were any minor wants, they were rectified immediately. As for breakfast, they were the most delicious full English breakfasts I have ever tasted/ate! I would revisit again given the opportunity. N/A

every thing was fantastic, been to other hotels in weymouth and found nothing was to much trouble ,and any thing we needed was there ,very nice people, and would be going back again. im a very light sleeper, and our room was in front, trafic you cant help but best ive slept for a long time .
