Excellent location near Glasgow central station. For the price, the room was surprisingly large and very comfortable indeed. The full breakfast buffet was fine and the staff were always helpful. Excellent value for money overall.
While my room was very nice, the reception/lobby/general rooms of the hotel were nothing special and perhaps a little rundown, but this really didn't matter much!
comfort, cleanliness, use of lounge, quiet yet near to shops, handy for bus to airport
Breakfast excellent. Good shower
Decor needs updated. Reception staff need more people skills
The location , friendly staff, good breakfast.
We had a good size bedroom, unfortunately single glaze windows, which meant constant noise from traffic and passers by all night disturbed our sleep. A choice of pillows would have been appreciated, as the ones we had were flat and unsupportive.
The WiFi The bath. The location. The breakfast.
It was all good. No issues from me!
clean, tidy, excellent breakfast, relaxed and friendly staff, fantastic location
initial impression as i entered the hotel was negative, but soon my opinion changed
Room Food Staff Location
The breakfast was nice and the dining room staff were very attentive
We were given a room on the 2nd floor where the toilet was built up on a box which was no use for my husband as he is disabled. We were then given another room on the same floor. Exactly the same!! The 3rd room we were given was on the 4th floor and had really draughty windows and the curtains were in need of a wash !! There was a portable radiator in the the so obviously someone had complained at the room being cold before. We've stayed here before but it had definetly gone downhill quite a bit.
It was reasonably clean, the rooms were large, whilst it had everything you would expect, it was out of date and well worn, carpets in particular
Breakfast was terrible, the lift was slow, very slow, the rooms were ok, but carpets were well worn as were the matresses, it was cheap which is great, you get what you pay for.
I liked the location from Glasgow central station. The price Tea and coffee in your room
Carpet in bedroom rucked up so could trip, toilet door paintwork in need of a good clean plus toilet seat wouldn't stay up. Breakfast had plenty of choice if you are not G F.
Excellent location and value for money. Staff also cannot be faulted
Room with a view of a rubbish tip. It all looked so rough out the back. I had a room overlooking the rear of the hotel which was not impressive. It appears to be a communal dumping ground
The location to shops and other amenities was great as it meant I could walk to where I needed to be. Close to the train station, music venues etc. Staff were friendly and the lounge was comfortable
Although there was plenty of food available at breakfast it wasn't very hot, the sausages were over cooked and the eggs were a bit rubbery. Having said that there was a good choice of alternatives on offer.
Due to a family incident we had to cancel our whole trip. The hotel would NOT cancel our stay and the staff were very rude.
Plenty of space in bedroom.
Everyone was helpful and was next to all shops and not far from hydro
location breakfast and helpfull staff
location was excellent.breakfast was very good.
the room was small and drab ,needs refurb.the bed was very hard pillow paper thin.i will not be going there again.if you like a good nights sleep this hotel is not for you.
Lift was very slow.Long wait at times, didn't always feel like 76 upward stairs to floor 3.
Excellent location and reasonable price. Breakfast good.
Very noisy from front street. Sash window old and rattled in wind. Mattress lumpy
Everything except the shower!
Could not regulate shower to suitable temperature, was far to hot
The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, the tv worked and there was lots of tea and coffee available in the room.
The curtains were dirty and there was only one flat pillow per person but all in it was just a bed for the night and it done for that!
The hotel is super nice, there was tea, coffee, biscuits and water waiting in the hotel room
The breakfast was quite poor
lovely room large and modern Breakfast fine. Option to leave luggage on last day
The location close to shops and also train station .
