location breakfast and helpfull staff
location was excellent.breakfast was very good.
the room was small and drab ,needs refurb.the bed was very hard pillow paper thin.i will not be going there again.if you like a good nights sleep this hotel is not for you.
Everything except the shower!
Could not regulate shower to suitable temperature, was far to hot
The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, the tv worked and there was lots of tea and coffee available in the room.
The curtains were dirty and there was only one flat pillow per person but all in it was just a bed for the night and it done for that!
Staff and breakfast
Noisy traffic through the night. Couldn't get wifi.
Big and clean room, comfy bed, fab breakfast, peaceful room.
Nothing really, it was all good.
Breakfast tomatoes cold not cooked tattie scones over cooked along with the bacon could not use a fork easier to use fingers coffee good window did not shut properly very noisy from a generator
near to shops, amenities and central station. helpful staff members
Everything, particularly the dining room and breakfast selection..
Nothing to dislike.
would recomend to friends and familyexcellent value for money service very high standard went above and beyond to make you feelwelcome thankyou.
nothing at all .
wonderful location which is near Glasgow central station with amazing price. staff are nice and helpful.
the duvet and pillows are not comfortable enough...
Beds were comfortable, there were 6 of us travelling and all 3 rooms were spotless. Breakfast was good, hot and freshly cooked
The traffic noise in rooms at the front lasted all night. 3 hours sleep on the 1st night and only had more with purchase of earplugs on the 2nd. 2 of our group had to change rooms
Hotel was clean and comfortable. Very central and within walking distance to everywhere. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Hotel itself although clean and comfortable needed a lot of updating. Furniture was very old and carpets quite tatty and patched in a lot of places.
My wife and I could not get a room at the hotel where we stayed on previous visits, so tried this one. Stayed in Room 427 - nice size, all facilities worked, bed comfortable and breakfast good and replenished right up to 9.30 closure. All staff we met were helpful and efficient. As we came by train, proximity to Central Station was one of our priorities. We were very satisfied with our visit, and would stay there again.
Had no hot water in the evening to have a bath.
Everything the hotel.is so dated the rooms are disgusting so dirty the bed had hairs in it and was like lying on brick the bathroom was disgusting and so dirty hair everywhere in Bath, rust everywhere nothing to hold onto to get in and out of Bath also everything was so dusty
At around midnight there was a group of young guests who were running around the corridor, banging doors and shouting/talking in loud voices. I complained to reception but the noise continued until I appealed to the youngsters to cool down but by this time we were well into the morning.
The location of this hotel is good for shopping, eating out etc. I stayed here 18 months ago so thought I would book again. Breakfast was edible.
After staying for a second night in the most uncomfortable bed in the world, and listening to a generator booming for 2 hours or more, I will not be staying here again. The beds were so bad my friend cut her stay short by 2 days. Luckily for me I had a friend I could stay with for the rest of my trip. When I stayed here 18 months ago the bedrooms needed decorating, but the bed was ok. The decor is very poor, which normally wouldn't bother me. I really thought the hotel would have been updated when you bear in mind that the Commonwealth Games were held in Glasgow this year.
The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in - I have slept in better fields. When I remarked to the receptionist that I couldn't get wifi his reply was "well mine works" - not helpful at all.
Spacious room, clean, great location.
Poor reception, check out too early, traffic noisy
The room was clean and had everything you needed. The location was great, 2 mins from Central Station and Buchanan Street and the best Thai Restaurant I have ever been to!
The front of the building. It was so shabby and gave a poor impression of what was to come.
location easy walk from train station .. odd décor public areas - "eclectic" taste of whoever chose to combine those carpets, wallpaper & furniture .. certainly unusual.
light sleepers should take ear plugs - the windows are not double glass.. even when closed one can hear every car, lorry or motorbike - and on the lower floors it feels like sleeping directly on the street..
The large room and huge shower room. The breakfast. Was well located.
The smell of cigarettes on the corridors outside my room wafting in under the 2 inch gap under the door. I wedged it with a pillow.
