Everything, particularly the dining room and breakfast selection..
Nothing to dislike.
would recomend to friends and familyexcellent value for money service very high standard went above and beyond to make you feelwelcome thankyou.
nothing at all .
wonderful location which is near Glasgow central station with amazing price. staff are nice and helpful.
the duvet and pillows are not comfortable enough...
Beds were comfortable, there were 6 of us travelling and all 3 rooms were spotless. Breakfast was good, hot and freshly cooked
The traffic noise in rooms at the front lasted all night. 3 hours sleep on the 1st night and only had more with purchase of earplugs on the 2nd. 2 of our group had to change rooms
Hotel was clean and comfortable. Very central and within walking distance to everywhere. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Hotel itself although clean and comfortable needed a lot of updating. Furniture was very old and carpets quite tatty and patched in a lot of places.
My wife and I could not get a room at the hotel where we stayed on previous visits, so tried this one. Stayed in Room 427 - nice size, all facilities worked, bed comfortable and breakfast good and replenished right up to 9.30 closure. All staff we met were helpful and efficient. As we came by train, proximity to Central Station was one of our priorities. We were very satisfied with our visit, and would stay there again.
Had no hot water in the evening to have a bath.
The location of this hotel is good for shopping, eating out etc. I stayed here 18 months ago so thought I would book again. Breakfast was edible.
After staying for a second night in the most uncomfortable bed in the world, and listening to a generator booming for 2 hours or more, I will not be staying here again. The beds were so bad my friend cut her stay short by 2 days. Luckily for me I had a friend I could stay with for the rest of my trip. When I stayed here 18 months ago the bedrooms needed decorating, but the bed was ok. The decor is very poor, which normally wouldn't bother me. I really thought the hotel would have been updated when you bear in mind that the Commonwealth Games were held in Glasgow this year.
Spacious room, clean, great location.
Poor reception, check out too early, traffic noisy
The room was clean and had everything you needed. The location was great, 2 mins from Central Station and Buchanan Street and the best Thai Restaurant I have ever been to!
The front of the building. It was so shabby and gave a poor impression of what was to come.
location easy walk from train station .. odd décor public areas - "eclectic" taste of whoever chose to combine those carpets, wallpaper & furniture .. certainly unusual.
light sleepers should take ear plugs - the windows are not double glass.. even when closed one can hear every car, lorry or motorbike - and on the lower floors it feels like sleeping directly on the street..
The large room and huge shower room. The breakfast. Was well located.
The smell of cigarettes on the corridors outside my room wafting in under the 2 inch gap under the door. I wedged it with a pillow.
The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean including the bathroom
.Not able to get a good sleep because of outside noise if double glazing would have been no problem
The room, breakfast
The wifi signal didn't extend to my room, and I had to go to the lounge to receive a signal. For this reason I answered the 'facilities' question above with only 'fair'. Had I known about this wifi situation I wouldn't have stayed at this hotel, so am unlikely to return.
Hotel was in the heart of the city - excellent location. Breakfast spread was very good.
There was no parking facilities for hotel guests. The public carpark recommended by the hotel staff cost us £15 for an overnight parking.
Location for my purposes Size of Bedroom Good size Bathroom Clean sheets and towels Female Reception Staff helpful and courteous
Male Reception, rude, unhelpful, to myself and other guests unknown to me Phone to Reception did not work Poor quality breakfast Burn holes in bedcover Big Chips in bath Hair in bath - not mine! Lift unreliable Noisy until late - could not go to sleep early
Had a great stay just a shame bar shut early because of scottish fans
Central for shops/trains Cheap and cheerful Good variety at breakfast Extra pillows blankets if reqd just ask You can leave luggage securely Tea and coffee in room and water
excellent situation for all that Glasgow offers. Breakfast reasonable & included in the cost.
noise of other guests returning after a late night out!
Room was in desperate need of refurbishment, and wasn't particularly clean. Noise from street and loud guests in the hallway on and off all night long.
Location and value for money were excellent.
Staff were a little inattentive at times.

Slow small lift
room and location
The hotel was clean. Staff were pleasant.
The lift is tiny and is used by staff as a trade lift. So we often just walked the four floors. We had to wait for breakfast as the dining area was too busy. The cooked breakfast looked ghastly so I just had a continental breakfast. The front room we were allocated was very noisy from street noise. It was also next to a swing door so we heard other guests coming and going. I would not return to this hotel.
