I didn't know what to expect, because of the mixed reviews I read about the hotel. But I was very pleased. The bedroom was very comfortable e clean, and everything looked new.

The bathtub could've been a little bit cleaner.

The young male receptionist was a joy to meet and he went out of his way to help with any queries/requests - a larger hotel chain would do well to steal him! The room was comfortable and the breakfast was very substantial with a wide choice with no restriction. The location is ideal for a shopping break.

Obviously being refurbed at the moment but the refurb had no adverse impact on our stay. The bathroom was adequate but a bit basic. A better positioned / lit mirror would be an advantage for doing hair / make-up.

The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the area.

Very close to the Central Station, good value for your money. Dont need to hire a car and drive to the city! Excellent breakfast! Tidy and spacious room! Good value for your money

The reception and bar staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was much larger than I expected and very modern. I was on my own but really enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was good and not rushed. I will certainly be back and have passed on details to my friends.

Cold shower at 5pm and boiling shower at 9am! very strange!!

Very reasonable city hotel, excellent location for city centre

Our shower would not work properly on the first morming. We reported it, they agreed it needed fixing, within 2 hours a new shower mixwe was fitted. Good job

Being a city centre budget hotel it did attract some boysterous and hence noisy guests

The hotel is central for shopping and very close to Central Station. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

The room was nice but the bathroom was a little tired looking and the corridors to do with being repainted to brighten them up, they were a bit scruffy.

I came early from London and apparently the room was ready and allowed to check in as early as 8 am. The room was clean and confortable. Conveniently located near to Central station and shopping areas. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.
