Alexandra Hotel  

I've stayed 3 times at the Alexandra Hotel but the 3rd time was the best, perhaps because we had a master bedroom which was superior to the previous times. The receptionist (a European don't know his name) was excellent and has a good memory. Overall I would stay again as it is a reasonable hotel in a very good location for travelling around London and near Paddington which has excellent train connections.

Previous times the first room was not satisfactory, bathroom very poor (this was initially booked by the airline I was travelling with and I upgraded the room when I booked additional days.

Very convenient for those arriving in London via Paddington station. Easy to get to tourist places from this location. Lots of amenities nearby - restaurants, souvenir shops, mainline trains and underground, only a couple of blocks from Kensington Gardens.

Breakfast disappointing. No cooked breakfast, but even the cold one could have been improved quite easily, and relatively inexpensively from the hotel's point of view, by providing whole wheat as well as white toast, and perhaps real cheese instead of processed slices. There was sufficient quantity, however. In the rooms it would have been nice to have a bathmat, and a hook to hang clothes or towel while showering.

The breakfast was terrible and the staff was unfriendly. You could hear almost everything from the room above and the hallway which resulted in less sleep. We didn't have big expectations but to be able to sleep and meet friendly staff was expected.

L’hôtel est trés bien situé pour - l’accès à l'aeroport de stanted ( stansted express +metro a 5 mn)- l’accès aux principales artères de Londres si on veut faire du shopping- la proximité des transports touristiques( 200m) qui permettent de se déplacer facilement ( le métro revient assez cher)sur les différents sites , la proximité de restaurants et de lieu de change Le petit déjeuner est suffisant et assez varié ( sucré et salé)bien que simple- la chambre est dotée du nécessaire pour se préparer une boisson chaude et la literie de qualité . en fait le rapport qualité prix pour Londres est appréciable

La chambre attribuée pour 3 personnes est plutôt petite, la salle de bains est la copie conforme de celle de cabine d’un bateau ce qui rend toute incursion assez folklorique( mais on passe + de temps a visiter qu'a rester dans la chambre) ; Une seule serviette de toilette par personne, et il faut réclamer pour obtenir un tapis de bains Certaines chambres du rez de chaussée donnent sur la rue, il est donc impossible de laisser la fenêtre entrouverte Le seul gros bémol qui n'est pas tout à fait du ressort de l’hôtel est le non respect par certains clients du sommeil des autres lorsqu'ils se déplacent a 1 h du matin comme en plein jour

Hyggeligt hotel med fantastisk beliggenhed og rimelig prisleje.

Toilet rengøring kan højnes.

At de var belliggende meget centralt til det hele. Både når det gælder transport til tog og underground. Og I samme område var der diverse købsmuligheder og restauranter og pubs. Venlige personale

Vi var nok lidt uheldig at få et hotelværelse hvor toilettet var meget lille. Man skulle næsten gå baglæns ind I det for at komme I bad.

åPen resepsjon hele døgnet. Beliggenhet med nærhet til Paddington Station og til Oxford Street samt Hyde Park.

Lite vennlighet, frokostpersonale så meget sure ut. Frokost ble ryddet bort før frokostserveringen skulle være ferdig. Lite utvalg mht. Drikke til frokost.
