All very good. Food and wine in the restaurant was very nice couldn't complain at all. Staff were very friendly.
Excellent Value, Very Peaceful, Very Welcoming Staff. Would stay again.
The actual hotel and room was great. The bar area was relaxing and enjoyable after a long trip.
The shower was cold water and upon informing the staff they refused to do anything about it.
Nice spa and fitness facilities, great lounge bar with pool table, football table and giant connect 4, comfortable night's sleep.
The staff were so kind and helpful, changing my room when they saw I had some difficulty walking, etc. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable
No Mobile signal. My wife was not able to phone in on any of the hotel landline numbers, because nobody picked up. Wifi signal was very weak and slow. Selection of TV channels was very poor
Pool lovely Comfy bed Staff helpful
Food was not great Went back to room after breakfast at 08:30 and was already being cleaned so couldn't freshen up Housekeeping knocked on door at 07:30 while I was trying to get dressed
I would have rated it better if there was a mini bar in the room and if Housekeeping had bothered with the room. It was not very clean and disappointing for the cost of the room.
Poor level of cleanliness of room, only 5 TV channels. I was expecting more for the price of the room.
Upgraded to a double superior room was very large with lovely big bed and a fridge which was great
Couldn't shut blind spoke to reception on way out and she said they would get someone to look on our return still couldn't shut blind. Bathroom very small would have liked some of room space used to extend bathroom was disappointing for a superior room
One of the best nights sleep I've had in a hotel. Lovely staf and great food.
Good pool facilities and friendly staff
Expensive house wine and not a good quality
They allowed the dog to stay, the breakfast was very good, the room was clean and comfortable
The wifi, as it was not explained properly
staff helpfulness ,hotel nice
food in restaurant was poor
This is a good place for a conference but not really for a long weekend break. The staff were very helpfull at all times,a credit for this place.
The security for businesses having your own wi fi code for each device . Restaurant food excellent and buffet breakfast. Staff helpful and rooms clean and everything supplied.
Only one thing bar prices little bit high. But did not spoil visit.
bed and swimming pool
Comfortable modern room, ample car parking and a good breakfast.
Evening meal, one of those days you fancy something traditional that no one can mess up, fish and chips.Fish was grey and tasteless and the batter was a wet soggy mess. If they ran a chip shop they would be out of business by the weekend.Complained to the waiter, the staff on signing the bill but only got a reduction when I challenged it again on checkout. Come on chef get your fat up to temperature and serve fresh.
comfort Food Staff
bit awkward to find
The spa facilities were very good. The staff were also helpful and friendly. Our friends, who had a dog, were very happy that the hotel was pet friendly.
The burger in the restaurant was not good, very dry and did not taste good at all. The mark up on wine, like most hotels/restaurants was ridiculous. £25 for a bottle of red that costs less than £6 in a supermarket. Limited selection of beer, Boddingtons (on tap) or bottles of 'Speckled Hen'.
We have stayed at this hotel a few times now as we have family in the area. The most outstanding thing is the staff and the level of service. I use a wheelchair and everyone is so discretely helpful. The restaurant food is excellent and great value for money. We have taken other people to eat there on a few occasions and there is a good choice andeveryone enjoyed their meals.
No negative comments
The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and we were happy overall.
I got bitten by bed bugs and still have the marks to show.
Comfortable, elegant hotel.
Nothing to comment on.
restaurant is poor and given its location there is no where else to go drink prices were extremely high: £4.75 for a bottle of ale.
Friendly staff Nice clean hotel Very quiet A lot of facilities e.g. meeting room etc
As it is out of town, nowhere is within walking distance, you will need a taxi to get around Restaurant is a bit pricey
all pretty good, wifi had an excellent bandwidth, able to watch live tv online, no buffering!.
only 5 channels offered on the tv, how strange....weather was bad that night so the signal kept dropping out
