We were visiting friends and the location was convenient. The hotel was very clean and staff pleasant and polite. The bed was soft with a roll to the middle. We checked in at 8 pm and were told the restaurant closed 9 15 pm. We were not told this applied to bar snacks as well so at 9 45 pm there was no food available . The staff did offer a bowl of nuts! |

The whole complex is excellent and the finishing touches like internet connection in the bedroom with a work station/desk was a well thought out addition. I cannot fault anything about this Hotel, well maybe the bar snacks menu could have smaller late evening or supper dishes eg. cheese & biscuits. |

We used the pool, steam room and the sauna which was great after a day of sight seeing I would have liked to use the gym but felt I needed some supervision. In our room we would have liked a bit more light and ventilasion. The alarm calls in the morning ie the doors of other guests going to conferences!!! |

Sightseeing Clear information was not provided with regards to resturant opening times, breakfast procedures. The bed was a little too hard for our preference. |

A pleasant relaxing environment, suitable for families and business. Good games room fro children. Clean, comfortable room and also other areas. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Restaurant staff very efficient. Choice of menu or buffet, excellent value. Difficult to find without very clear instructions. Our old sat nav. couldnt find it and signs not up until you're there. Clear instructions necessary. |

I liked to staff's proffessionalism throughout my stay, always cheerful. I thought the cleanliness could not be bettered. As a business stay it was excellent or for those couples who want a professional not family stay, it was a welcome break for me being a family man with all the facilities I needed to do my work and attend a local conference, which by the way I have recommended they use Alexandra House in future and indeed your other facilities look so apertising. Obviously, having a discounted stay helped my enjoy the occasion, feeling I had very good value for money. Nothing I did not like at the hotel really, if Alexander House wanted to promote their hotels, a simple brochure left in the room would help promote them and indeed why not Booking.Com too. |

Got a v. good rate. £49 a night for a double incl 2 breakfasts so stayed four days. Large room. Great breakfast. Easy parking outside our room. The matress sagged in middle. And no aircon is bizarre in a such an upmarket new hotel. Makes room stuffy in August. |

I think this is a relatively new hotel, so everything is well appointed and in good condition. Free Wi-Fi if you have your own laptop. Situated outside Wroughton on the road to Barbury Castle in its own extensive grounds, this makes for a quiet location - ideal for the conferences it specialises in, or for exploring the surrounding area, but a bit remote if you need to be in Swindon town centre, My room was a little dark due to its corner location, but otherwise fine. Breakfast served from 7.00-9.00 which probably suits Business clients but might not suit those looking for a more relaxed start to the day! |

Excellent swimming pool that does not allow children (except at very restricted times). I wish all hotels would follow this lead and ban children from the swimming pool. We got a genuine bargain thanks to booking.com. |

Probably one of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in, nice to have the pool and leisure facilities too. Breakfast was great as well, full English buffet, pastries, cereals, fruit, cheese & cold meat. Country location but easy (5mins) access to M4. My only minor complaints; the blinds didn't shut out as much light as I'd have liked and the bed sloped a bit towards the middle with two people in it, maybe I'm just spoiled by my bed at home though. |

The restaurant manager (Hassim?) was particularly friendly and helpful. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the room was like a slightly better "Premier Lodge" with a much higher price ticket. Would not be inclined to stay here again, even though I am a trainer. |

Very nice and modern hotel. Quiet place. Lots of services and facilities. I booked this hotel especially for the swimming-pool but children were not allowed (except on Saturday afternoon) and my two kids were upset about not enjoying a nice bath! It should be mentioned in the hotel description. Apart from this, I would advise you to check the amount of your restaurant bill when leaving the restaurant, because at your arrival in the restaurant, your signature and room # are requested, and the price is not mentioned yet (of course, you haven't ordered yet!) and we had a bad surprise when checking-out and were charged some additional (not justified) 32£! We protested and a Manager then apologized and even made a discount. We appreciated his professional and commercial attitude. |

Clean modern and spacious hotel, friendly staff in a calm luxury enviroment. The breakfast this time was very good, self service and plenty of choice. Changing rooms for the leisure centre needs a little more attention to hygiene and really needs a swin suit spinner / dryer for wet swim suites. You also need to take towels from the hotel room for a swim, this was not mentioned except for a small notice in the room which could easily be missed, this happened to ourselves and then were wondering around the reception requesting towels in our wet swim suites because of lack of leisure centre staff. |
