Zeer aangename kamer, ontbijtbuffet uitstekend

Moeilijk te vinden via GPS, telefonisch contact opgenomen voor nauwkeurigere beschrijving. Persoon aan telefoon was niet bijster enthousiast. Dit is enige lichte vorm van kritiek.

Bijzonder hoog serviceniveau. Niets is teveel voor het personeel. Probleempjes worden snel opgepakt en opgelost. Hotel ligt heerlijk rustig en biedt een hoge mate van privacy-gevoel tijdens verblijf. Personeel is uitstekend en zeer service-gericht.

Gelet op prijsniveau en eigen reclame-uitingen vielen de bedden erg tegen. Breedte van het bed te klein voor twee personen, waardoor goede comfortabele nachtrust soms te wensen overlaat. Bedden zakken naar het midden weg (kuileffect). Hotel heeft daarentegen reclame-uitingen waarin hun 'king-size' bedden zo worden aangeprezen. Voorts klacht over de waterdruk in douche. Deze was abnormaal laag. Bij het indienen van een klacht hierover, konden we direct een andere kamer betrekken. Het probleem bleek namelijk bekend. Inmiddels hadden we ons toen al wel twee dagen 'gered' met hoegenaamd geen waterdruk. Geen kamers toewijzen die niet aan alle eisen voldoen!!! Eerst probleem oplossen!!!

De kamers waren ruim en schoon. Zwembad/sauna waren uitstekend.Het restaurant was goed, zowel ontbijt als diner.

Enigst klein minpuntje waren de glazen in bar en restaurant. Ze ogen niet schoon en er zat ook lipstick op.

Spa facilities were great, room spacious and clean.

Fire alarms went off at 7am, bit of an unwelcome wake up call.

The spa facilities were very good, the hotel was very clean and tidy and the staff were helpful, friendly and polite a pleasure to talk to.

The hotel was very difficult to find even with instruction. There was very little if any mobile phone reception, we had to go outside to make mobile phone calls.

Quick check-in, nice atmosphere, attentive staff, simple but good evening meal menu, varied buffet breakfast and quiet location.

the setting and surrounds, we enjoyed the peace and space in the hotel. also that you were able to have drinks in the lounge,eg tea and coffee at no extra cost. we also enjoyed the facilites of the gym pool and sauna , we enjoyed our stay and will certainly book to come back soon

Every need catered for. Great leisure facilities.

We used the pool, steam room and the sauna which was great after a day of sight seeing

I would have liked to use the gym but felt I needed some supervision.In our room we would have liked a bit more light and ventilasion.The alarm calls in the morning ie the doors of other guests going to conferences!!!

Sightseeing

Clear information was not provided with regards to resturant opening times, breakfast procedures. The bed was a little too hard for our preference.

I liked to staff's proffessionalism throughout my stay, always cheerful. I thought the cleanliness could not be bettered. As a business stay it was excellent or for those couples who want a professional not family stay, it was a welcome break for me being a family man with all the facilities I needed to do my work and attend a local conference, which by the way I have recommended they use Alexandra House in future and indeed your other facilities look so apertising. Obviously, having a discounted stay helped my enjoy the occasion, feeling I had very good value for money.

Nothing I did not like at the hotel really, if Alexander House wanted to promote their hotels, a simple brochure left in the room would help promote them and indeed why not Booking.Com too.

Rooms were very good+ leisure facilities

Bar prices were extortionate

Excellent swimming pool that does not allow children (except at very restricted times). I wish all hotels would follow this lead and ban children from the swimming pool. We got a genuine bargain thanks to booking.com.
