Good location. Good value and great breakfast.
Location and food were excellent
The beds dipped in the middle and we had sore backs by the morning. The rooms are needing refurbished. Tired decorations and furnishings
The prom view. Lovely thick white towels.
The ceiling drip due to prob with floor above !!
Staff attitude us poor..they swan round like they own theplace and make guests feel that they are invading....also told that no hot water in my room was just one of those things in a i dont care just go back to your roon kind of manner....you are resposible for my happy stay....so everyone stop being stuck up ur not the hilton....treat guests as kings and queens or they wont come back....
Location to theatre and shops
Tiny shower room due to grade 2 listing restrictions
You need to be a size six to use ensuite
We had a sea view from our room
The bathroom seemed very small
The room, (we booked 2), mine was small, the other one was very large. It was comfortable and homely. Loved the breakfast. The staff were especially kind and welcoming. I traveled with an elderly lady, and due to her limited mobility, she was given the large ground floor room without extra charge. This was very good.
Nothing. It provided everything we needed, whatever wasn't available in the room was supplied when asked for: eg = Hair drier. Overall, I'd come again for sure.
Breakfast-good selection, hot, quick and tasty.
Bedroom was so cold, radiator behind headboard barely warm, no heat in bathroom, draught through window. Duvet lumpy, pillow like slab of rubber.
Nice place would stay again
free parking, wifi is not too bad, depending where your room is in hotel. very good price
Friendly staff Shown to our room Friendly and cheap bar
Just a bit quiet but of course it was out of season
Room was spacious . Tea , coffee and biscuits . TV and DVD player . Great location with free easy parking. Great breakfast .
Bathroom small but very manageable .
very good location facing funland.Excellent size 2 good size rooms and bathroom.Good price.
This was a family room but didn't cater for a family where cutlery or plates, cups were concerned.Their was 2 of each and not even a glass.
The bed, the location, the staff, the food.
The lack of a wardrobe
Value for. Money.Cleaneless , good breakfast cooked as I like it.Great location close to shops, pubs, and theatres, cinemas and restaurants etc.
Clean comfortable and friendly and good value for money.
They thoroughly enjoyed their stay first break in 2 years due to dads health. view from the room across prom/lake lovely. Room and facilities very clean and comfy and practical. Receptionist was a lovely helpful lady. Value for money defo. Will recommend to others
sink in bathroom quite small. That's it!
Fluffy white towels Clean, comfortable bed Phone call whilst we were on our way to see if all was well
Wet carpet from fridge Small, cramped en suite Mould in shower Smelly hot fat in dining room from kitchen as result of cooking with it too long
Clean, modern room, got a kitchenette room which had everything needed for self catering, friendly staff and brilliant location.
Knew from reviews beforehand it's a listed building so some rooms quite small, didn't have a bath in En-suite but no real issue size of room big enough, room near night entrance so could hear people coming & going - luckily no noisy guests while I was there so keep in mind when booking.
Comfortable bed, friendly staff, clean and warm room. Breakfast was cooked to order and although not plentiful it was tasty.
Hotel was closed when I arrived (about 7.30p.m.) I had to phone Steve and then wait for him to arrive to open up and show me to my room. The room was miniscule, no cupboard to hang clothes, just a bracket with a small ironing board and a couple of hangers on the wall.
The location of the hotel is very good just a five minute walk to the centre of town
Did not expect to have to listen to a dog crying in the adjacent room whenever the owners whent out without it. Would never have stayed had I known that pets were allowed.
I thought the option to be able to cook in the room with the use of the kitchenette a good idea. A neat and useful arrangement. The use of a separate door also made it personal to you. Staff were very amenable.
Limited use of WiFi as it is only available in the lounge. My children also struggled as my oldest is revising for his exams. The lounge was closed majority of the time we were in the hotel. My oldest lad has also stated the mattresses in the second room was very uncomfortable.
Location lovely comfy bed all towels and linen was very clean the lady on reception was lovely she seemed to be doing everything i think it may be that on days people are coming for there stay that they may be understaffed due to pressure the chef was taking orders for breakfast and cooking and serving they was doing there best
Very untidy needs some TLC not really acessabile for disabled shower door in room 1 didn't close toilet system was loose on the cistern in need for a revamp i am sure that this could be a great hotel if they improve on the certain things that need to be updated and some TLC Still enjoyed our stay and all the negativity could be turned to be positive so please don't be put off Doncaster
