With its grand original Victorian façade, this AA 3-star hotel has superb facilities and a great location, right on the promenade, enjoying panoramic views over the coastline of the North-West.

Superbly located next to the Marine Lake, Premier Inn Southport Central has good access to rail links and is a short walk to Southport Beach and Pier.
Score from 244 reviews Very good
Staff were excellent, very helpful & upgraded us as a better room was available. The room is in an old building but is kept fairly up to date & everything looks and works well. It has a little kitchen & fridge in the room which was handy. Would definitely stay here again when we return. Location is right in front of the Pier.
For the price, nothing.
Nothing.... possibly apart from Husband is 6ft 2" bed was a wee bit small ........... but really really no problem
Very friendly, helpful lady on reception. Very comfortable bed! Good space - kitchen area very handy only used fridge and the bathroom was great with bubbly bath & shower. Didn't have breakfast this visit so can't comment. Tea, coffee etc in room always needed. Will definitely stay here again. Thank You P.s car parking available too :)
Only stayed one night here so didn't really find any negatives. You can here other guests talking, moving around etc but wasn't enough to bother us so all good!
Excellent value breakfast.
Very sad, dismal bar, generally quite shabby.
Front door key would not open the door. Had to wait for another tenant to come along and use their key
Comfortable Bed Good location
Lack of facilities in bedroom, ie: no toiletries, soap, facecloth, information pack, no wardrobe. Cracked sink in very small, inadequate bathroom. Built in kitchen stunk of curry!!!! No bar facilities or dining facilities. Hotel locked at 7.15 pm!!!!!! Advertised as 4 star - would be lucky to be granted a 2!!!! Could have had a far superior hotel for a lot less money. Needs an urgent profile review and inspection.
Great room size.. Great view. Great bathroom. Girls loved there seperate bedroom with TV :) Staff & owners were fab. Only too pleased to help :) Will defo book again
Toilet brush !! Always a no no for me.. More so with children in room.. They are always dirty or @ very least smelly.. Toilets can be cleaned with toilet paper then flushed if needed.. Also room , window sills & radiators were dusty. Only a 5minute job prior to guests arriving but alas it was forgotten. Putting beautifly clean towels on dusty radiators isn't on either.. Only small faults but never the less, needs attention
Bed was very comfy Staff friendly
Strange smell in hallways
The location is good and the room had a king size bed.
Their De Lux room had no bath, just a very small shower cubicle. There was no wardrobe only a short hanging rail fastened to the room wall. The deco was also a bit drab. By far the worse 4 Star accomadation we have ever stayed in.
I found the staff excellent and so willing to help. The room was excellent, Breakfast really good and set you up for the day. We will be going back.
Trust me if there was anything I would tell you.
Staff a little ignorant.
Friendly staff and near to shops and bars
Comfy beds, location
The noise from above. Every morning at 5.30am it sounded like someone was going to come through our ceiling, think we were under the staff living accommodation. The restaurant was also closed but we were not told in advance which was disappointing.
I liked the cleanliness and the staff in the dining room were very friendly.
I booked to stay in this hotel in August and payment was taken out straight away although it clearly said payment will be taken on arrival - when I called to ask why they took money out of my account, I was told that because it was not refundable, because they had given me a discount, which means I would lose £217.00 if we were unable to stay there. We were 3 adults with two single beds and one z bed which had no mattress and there were only 2 tea cups. When one of us asked for a mattress and a 3rd tea cup and a wider duvet, because they were very narrow, she was told that "she was very demanding". I feel that we have the right to be demanding because we paid for the service!
How friendly & helpful the lady was on first introduction & this continued throughout my stay
Very convenient for all amenities. Very good breakfast. Breakfast was optional and good value. Owners vey pleasant. Gave us ground floor room with excellent views as no lift.
Room was classed as deluxe but only deluxe part was the enormous bed. 1 small hanging rail with 6 hangers and small shelf, no cupboards. Kitchen really unnecessary. Realise it was getting to end of season but website said there was a restaurant but it was closed. Bar was only open during day. Door into main part of building was locked in the evening. Not a Hotel as we expected, really a rather pricey B & B. Needs more attention to the little things, no bin in bathroom.
Owners were ok, pleasant enough, room was adequate. Breakfast was pretty good.
Weren't doing food as it was a Sunday night, limited options locally. Thin walls to rooms, so found it quite noisy and didn't sleep well.
Good location and reasonable price
An old fashioned, badly converted property. Receptionist was nice and helpful. We misunderstood the time for breakfast and, when we arrived on Sunday morning for breakfast at 10:10 and asked if we were too late, the man just said "massively". This will go into our top five hotel put downs.
Our bedroom and bathroom were clean and modern. The breakfast was good.
There were no facilities at the hotel. Very, very small lounge/bar area and we entered and exited the hotel by a separate door not through the main door. More a B & B than 'hotel'
Location Bed Staff Bathroom lights
Great Location - near main shopping centre, bus/train station & the sea-front. Comfortable bed Great bath towels/
Incompetent receptionist No hairdryer in room (have to request from reception) Cold room during the night Room only at £50 is a rip-off! Awful unsafe dodgy ramp at entrance/exit for guests. Average shower.
Chap who runs hotel was very pleasant and helpful.
Badly in need of a makeover but still value for money!
It had a small kitchenette in room which is great for families or long stays
Staff lovely, location excellent.
Rooms incredibly small, window opened onto the roof where the A/C unit whirred all night, parking very poor indeed.
