This Victorian townhouse is a short walk from Havre des Pas Beach and outdoor pool. It is a 5 to 10 minute walk from central St Helier. Lovingly restored, The Alhambra has been run by the same family for the past 20 years. It offers a bar, a peaceful lounge and a relaxing terrace for enjoying the sun. Each bedroom has a flat-screen TV, tea/coffee and free Wi-Fi. For late check-out or early check-in, The Alhambra Hotel offers a left-baggage facility and a public shower. You can book day trips at reception, and borrow equipment for a day on the beach. Breakfast was well cooked and substantial, bedroom clean and bed comfortable, near to pubs and restaurants, parking awful took 10 minuites to nearest car park, staff were friendly Parking was a nightmare, best suited for someone without a car, also lots of stairs with no lift, a bit much for oaps at the end of the day, bar not always open

Hotel down the road from the beach, & 10 mins walk to the town centre.Looks good from the outside but not so good inside- a bit dated. Good dining room & clean good sized bedroom. Could have done with some shower gell. Excellent breakfast with full English or continental.Good selection of eating places towards the beach or town direction.

the carpets were dirty and the rooms were very poorly furnished. there was only 1 chair in the double bedroom. the breakfast waiter was quite sharp and served the cooked breakfast before i ate my cornflakes. the owner of the hotel thought this was amusing when i informed her of this. there was no bar as advertised and the lounge was not used. a poor stay in jersey .what a shame

The proprietor and waitress was helpful and friendly.Breakfast was plain but fine.The only thing we did not like was the tin tomato on the cooked breakfast plate.A Fresh one would have made a huge difference.The bedroom was clean but dated and en-suite cramped.Hotel was in a nice quiet location and only a five minute walk to the bus stop.If its a budget holiday one wants,this one is perfect.

The Alhambra Hotel was excellent value for money. The room was clean and comfortable. The owner Amanda and her staff very friendly and helpfull. Amanda went out of her way to give advice and information. We had a lovely holiday. Nothing, everything was fine. Could have done with a soap dish in the shower maybe.

Breakfast was good. A bit tired, the carpet in room was quite stained and shower cubicle also needed attention. No-where to hang towels to dry. Pillows not at all comfortable.

Proximity to the beach and center of St Helier. The hotel is very cosy and quiet. Nothing fancy. Charm of a family home. Would definitely recommend for a nice and peaceful stay on the island. Toilet system in our room was rather loud.

I enjoyed everything about the Alhambra Hotel from the friendly rereception on arrival and the excellent breakfasts served prompltly. It has a good location with small shops and good places to eat all within easy reach of the hotel as well as being close to th beach.
