With a heated outdoor swimming pool and its own coffee shop, Norfolk Hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the center of St Helier. The sandy beach of Havre de Pas is less than a 10-minute walk away.
Score from 168 reviews Very good
Just a short walk from St Helier waterfront, The Mountview Hotel offers refurbished en suite rooms with free limited private parking, within walking distance of the ferry port.
Score from 321 reviews Very good
Overlooking Liberation Square and the yacht marina, the 4-star Pomme d'Or is in the heart of Jersey. Guests can enjoy elegant rooms and free access to the nearby Aquadome Leisure Centre.
Score from 248 reviews Excellent
Situated on Havre Des Pas’ seafront, the family-run Maison Chaussey Guest House offers a bar, restaurant, and free Wi-Fi throughout. St Helier’s town centre is just 10 minutes’ walk away.
Score from 106 reviews Very good
Knowledgeable and friendly staff Good breakfast Central location
Patchy wifi Take away breakfast was not left in room when requested. Room a bit tired looking.
Friendly and helpful staff. Quiet location so we slept very well. Only 10 minutes' walk from town centre. There's a handy store just across the street. Wifi worked without problems. The room was nice and tidy. We enjoyed our stay.
it was very good value for money in walking distance of st helier town centre the room was spacious and comfortable
the ensuite was a bit small
This is a great place to stay in an ideal location about ten minutes walk to the centre and a stone's throw from the seafront. The owner and her son are both lovely and the breakfast is good. The room was clean and comfortable and I would have no hesitation in staying here again next time I'm in Jersey.
The wi-fi was almost non existent - not really an issue for me but it may be important for some. The addition of shower gel would be a nice touch.
BREAKFASTS EXCELLENT. CLEAN. PLEASANT LOUNGE FOR READING & RELAXATION. HELPFUL. INFORMATIVE RECEPTION.
NO PARKING FACILITIES. SINK LOCATION IN RELATION TO TOILET FACILITY. NO BAR AND THEREFORE LITTLE OR NO OPPORTUNITY TO SOCIALLY INTERACT WITH OTHER GUESTS.
location of hotel in side street just off beach with open air swimming pool.
No shampoo sachet in shower cubicle. Blinds let in light at sides and where strips overlap. I could hear man in next room snoring through the wall.
For the rate with which we paid you got exactly what was asked. 10 mins from the town centre on foot, 5 mins from the beach, 5 mins from the park. A nice pub round the corner, a late night shop opposite, a good breakfast. all in all a great base at a good price. Yes its 2 star, but if you want more then pay more, great stay for the week.
I would have liked to have seen the bar open in the evening, however i do understand this was at the end of september and there may have been certain factors as to why it wasnt. but we got a take out from the shop over the road and sat outside.
Breakfast buffet choice was very basic
Convenient location. Enjoyed the breakfasts.
Woken early by traffic noise some mornings.
The room and bathroom were spacious, the beds were nice and firm, just how we like them and the breakfast was really good. The number 1 bus ran across the bottom of the street at regular intervals between the Town Centre and the picturesque Gorey Harbour.
No lift, although it did not affect us personally.
No hot water after 11am
Pleasant helpful staff, good value, easy to walk to from bus station
wifi only works in some areas, but not a big problem as good connection in communal lounge
Location suited us very well, and the staff were very friendly, and helped us sort out a problem we had when we arrived. Room had everything we needed for our stay and I would certainly recommend others to stay.
Slightly erratic chambermaiding - last evening found we hadn't been left any milk with the tea for example. We could have phoned for some I am sure but seemed a bit much to disturb people for this. Also, a few more tea bags! and maybe breakfast running a bit later on Sunday mornings!!
Well located. Printed off our BA boarding passes.
Noisy road/people. No blackout curtains. So the very things I requested (dark, quiet room) were ignored completely! No fruit at breakfast and they don't do poached eggs either.
Rooms had good facilities, were well lit and ventilated, breakfast was very good offering a wide choice of foods. Staff were very friendly, especially Amanda, who was lovely. Would definitely return, despite the hard mattresses, as the ambience was second to none.
Beds were extremely hard and some pretty restless nights.
nice hotel and staff very friendly
nothing to dislike
Owners very friendly and welcoming. Staff also very friendly and helpful. Breakfast-limited choice but more than adequate. Location nice and quiet yet handy for town centre. Very reasonably priced room.
The whole experience of the reservation. Very warm welcome from Amanda, staff were all very lovely. The room was very lovely, good size, tastefully presented, comfortable and most enjoyable.
Only 10 minutes from St Helier town centre and a walk down the road to the beach and bistro's. Very friendly and helpful staff, lovely room and good choice of breakfast. For the cost very good value for money - highly recommended!
The floor of the room is not carpeted and so you could hear the occupants of the room above move around. However, this is a minor point as I didn't find it disruptive.
breakfast to early 8am to 10 am better. On the internet it shows pictures of the bar, very misleading when the bar is permanently closed. Room 17 is very noisy and has to have the blinds closed at all times to have any privacy. I was always told to be of smart appearance when dealing with the public, the breakfast waiter needs to get his hair cut and the sausages were awful.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and served their purpose. Breakfast options were good as well.
Occasionally the shower was cold if I got up too late, and wifi was poor on the top floor.
From the helpfulness of the staff to the spacious, clean, well equipped bedroom our stay was a joy from start to finish
The breakfast time of between 8-9 was a struggle after a heavy night!!!
Family run business. Friendly staff. Location near the sea. Quite street.
Shower facilities very small and in need of refurbishment. Washing basin in the room. No shower gel/shampoo provided. One day hot water was not available. Hotel generally is in need of refurbishment.
- Friendly atmosphere in a slightly old-fashioned hotel - Quiet street at night - Helpfull staff - Close to the beach
- Bathroom made too much noise when the light was on - The walking distance to the center of St-Helier was longer than I would have thought
