Exceptionally clean and perfectly placed for a city visit. Felt like it had recently had a refirb.

Nothing. I had a single room that was quite small, but perfectly acceptable.

Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Great city centre location only a minutes walk from kings cross. Rooms modern and clean.

Alhambra Hotel is 200m from Kings Cross station so the location is perfect (Piccadilly line takes you there directly from Heathrow). The hotel has a clear touch of English charm - simple but clean, nice and tidy. Everything is quite cramped and small, but that's just in accordance with the "style". The typical breakfast is also simple but satisfying. The staff was very helpful and nice.

It's a disappointment that they charge 3% extra when paying with visa card.

Room was clean and comfortable, check-in and check-out were very efficient. Can't comment on breakfast, because I had to leave before it started!

I was on the first floor facing the road and the room was quite noisy, especially since I was not able to close the window fully!

Good breakfast served quickly, friendly staff, good free wifi. The man at the front desk carried my luggage upstairs since they didn't have a lift. I would stay there again, and have recommended it to colleagues in Brussels.

Friendly efficient staff. Very, very clean throughout. Recent refurbishment. Personal safe for valuables in room. Plenty of hangers in wardrobe. Close to Kings Cross and St Pancras railway stations and Metro/ Underground. Happy to store luggage after checkout time. A good choice of breakfast menu included in room price.

Single Room number 7 is unsuitable for a big obese person. Shower and toilet cubicle very very small and cramped even for a normal sized person. Staff said toilet cubicals are of similar size in all rooms.

The bedes were comfortable. The location is great and breakfast included is a good deal

the stairs are a bit hard to negotiate if you have mobility issues.

Ideal location (near King's Cross St. Pancras, where Eurostar arrives) and very good public transport connections to the city, to Heathrov and Gatwick. Staff were welcoming and helpful (on the day of arrival we were greeted by a very friendly German speaking receptionist, the breakfast staff were friendly as well). Excellent english breakfast. The room was clean and quite comfortable, although a little bit small. Free wifi, hair dryer and tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Also very helpful: 24 hours front desk (as we arrived after midnight).

Narrow stairs could be a problem with big suitcases but the staff are ready to help.

A basic, no-frills hotel which is clean and tidy and well situated, perfect for catching the Eurostar.
