On the seafront in the heart of Brighton's 'Lanes', this friendly hotel has a pool, gym and free Wi-Fi. It is well-located for nightlife, restaurants and the beach.
Score from 2611 reviews Good
With its sumptuous Renaissance style, The Grand Brighton has a magnificent location on Brighton’s seafront and is just a 10-minute walk from Brighton Pier.

Overlooking the seafront, The Thistle Brighton is just 400 metres from the Brighton Pier and the Royal Pavilion. It offers free Wi-Fi throughout, a restaurant with sea views, a pool and a spa.

Pretty much everything- one of the best hotels that I have stayed in and an excellent breakfast... its more like 5 star
Every thing was excellent. the location has amazing views over looking the marina it is a short walk to the pier and is close to good eateries, just GREAT. Next time we are going for a week.
The view and decotr of the hoetal and room and the food was gorgeous!!!
The room was small and it felt a bit claustrophobic. Small attention to detail in terms of the walls (where the kettle is positioned) could do with a revamp.
Nice modern Hotel with great staff who went out of there way to make our stay a success. Good location within the Marina with plenty of choice of places to eat.
For the price maybe sky TV instead if free view
Brighton can be a nightmare to get to for the business traveller and finding suitable hotels can be a minefield. This is a warm, friendly, comfortable hotel with FREE PARKING. The restaurant and food is very good but if you want to eat out you are spoiled for choice with everything from, fast food type outlets (fish and chips & Nandos) to a high end restaurant or a curry house. All of which are a three min walk within the very pleasant Marina complex. Stroll around the complex to calm down from that drive you just had! The staff ate friendly, helpful, courteous and knowledgeable and a credit to the hotel. There is an Asda petrol outlet as you leave the car park so you can refuel for your onward journey the next day. Go online to the hotel site and download the PDF that shows you how to find the parking. Park on level six as it’s the same level that the boardwalk you need to take to the hotel is on. If I have any more business In Brighton, this is the place. The other places I have stayed don’t even come close. Congratulations Hotel Seattle, you nailed it!
Teh Hotel Web site could bring how to locate parking more to teh front but that is just a small observation.
The view from the room and the cleanliness of the room
No ironing facilities in room and would of liked the room to be a little more spacious for the amount paid
Lovely location, great views. Really enjoyed being able to step straight out of our room onto the deck overlooking the marina. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms very clean, tastefully furnished. Bed was genuinely very comfortable. Free undercover parking an extra bonus. Really enjoyed our breakfast too.
Nothing to complain about! :)
Rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and staff very friendly.
Hotel felt quite hot even though radiators in rooms were not on.
Ultra modern with very helpful and friendly staff Derek Cheltenham
This is the 3rd time my girlfriend and I have stayed at the Seattle. The staff are very friendly and are happy to help in any way they can. Our room (large king) was very spacious, clean and well presented. Great night sleep and topped of with a superb breakfast. Will continue to stay here.
We find it very hard to find any faults with this hotel although the double room was a bit claustrophobic.
The food in the restrant was not good at all we had a meal I'n the evening and was very disappointed with it.
The say was good with good food, the only thing was it was hot out side and hotter inside.
No air conditioning the room was to hot a fan was in the room but it was loud
Appearance of room, nice bathroom
Intolerably hot room. Poor service in the restaurant including needing to teach the waiter how to open my bottle of wine!
size of room lack of hanging space and luggage bench in room. Poor quality of tv reception.
Location great, easy to find and exceptionally clean and modern. Great offer and will definitely book if in Brighton in future
Car parking not too clear. Needed to telephone the hotel from the location vicinity in an attempt to find out about parking process.
The balcony was actually shared and if the window was open then the French door could be easily opened from the outside and was therefore not secure. Since the balcony was shared the other guests could congregate immediately outside your window and door. There was no air conditioning in the room. The available Parking was in a nearby public multi-storey and was not secure. The service in the bar was appalling, being manned by one person who could hardly speak English and a long queue of thirsty people.
Loved the view overlooking the Marina, including the breakfast area.
Rubbish lifts! Had to lug baggage up stairs.
The view. The room we booked on line did not look like the one we were given. We had to pay to upgrade which was disappointing.
The dinner we had on 2/10 did not have any wow factor. Prawn cocktail with prawns so tiny I immediately thought frozen . The fish cakes were very ordinary.
Room to small Bathroom to Small Pillows to hard Hotel to hot Smell of cooking food coming through windows In general poor value for money. Will re visit location but will not stay at this hotel.
View of marina
1. Car park was a long distance from the hotel and you had to negotiate stairsfrom the multistorey carpark to the hotel itself 2. Lifts to hotel not working and therefore you had to go up three levels of stairs to get to your room back down through the stairs to get out of the place. 3. Loud singing and a crowd of people on the open deck just immediately below our room they were having a party which was adjacent to the restaurant and bar to the hotel and went to well into the early hours of the morning. Management did nothing to control noise. 4. Hotel did not replenish shower gel or shampoo for our second night. Also had to ask for further toilet paper as this was not replenished as well. 5. For £140 per night you expect better service
good food & service
carpets & paintwork tired & in some places not clean carpets stained in some public areas
Location is excellent for Marina area. Lots of different restaurants available downstairs. Staff and cleanliness was very good all round Hotel. We will be going back soon!
Bar prices very expensive!
Great Location although a bit tricky to find at first as the hotel is located within the shops and bars. Therefore superb location for relaxing, eating and drinking. We paid extra for a sea view/ Marina view and was well worth it. Breakfast was excellent with a very good choice. Reception staff were friendly and efficient. Rooms spacious and very clean. Despite the location being very central and within the bars and shops still seemed very quiet in the rooms. Also very handy parking in the attached car park. If you park on level 6 you can walk straight across the footbridge towards the hotel if you give your car reg to the hotel parking is free. Only a 30 minute walk into Brighton or 5 mins in a taxi (approx £6 cost) Great stay and will definately return.
T.V Reception was poor and kept freezing but only used the tv to watch the news so no big deal.
