Hotel Bar slightly on the expensive side.
Very helpful staff who booked and arranged taxi shareing to Marathon start. Early breakfast supplied for Marathon morning.
Can be expensive
King room, space comfort and view great
Room was hot and the seagulls too loud to open the window
Balcony small, only room for one chair. Very little space to hang clothes, no wardrobe.
Location away from centre of Brighton. Clean and spacious room and bathroom. Free parking close to hotel.
Catered for marathon runners with excellent meal night before. Provided very early breakfast and arranged shared taxis to the start of the race. Plus car parking was free for the weekend.
Hotel clean staff helpful and polite ideal location not too busy Marina had restaurants and shops available
dont forget anything valuable there, will never be found as guaranteed.
The noisy building work beside the hotel ...shame as started banging at 8am ...but we managed to ignor it some people may not
Staff, the view of boats
Everything is wonderful and nice room with balcony with marina view.
See above. Carpet stained and toilet wrong way round and shower screen fixed dangerously when climbing in or out. Room felt very small. Breakfast poor
We do feel we should of been informed about the building work noise when we booked a marina view room.
Other than a bar and restaurant, no other facilities which is a shame as its a nice hotel. Could do with at least 1 wardrobe in the room as no proper hanging space. Being a tall couple we had to be careful not to poke our eyes out on the clothes pole each time we passed it as its location isn't great! Not really a hotel you'd spend more than 2 nights at due to lack of facilities.
Good choice of food for breakfast, rooms and general areas clean, would be nice to have more than 4 coat hangers between 2 of us hanging off a pole rather than a proper wardrobe.
Comfort and friendly staff spacious room
Hair s in Bath and gin drowned in tonic. Last time we stayed we pointed out that they should not pour all the tonic into glass but they are still at it Why we asked ourselves?
Breakfast on first day
Location and modern hotel
Rooms too hot, having to sleep with the windows open so the seagulls wake you up very early.
Modern, contemporary décor and relaxed atmosphere
see above. The ads don't quite make it clear that parking can only be reached by crossing a walkway several hundred yards from where you parked your car in a public car park.
Great hotel if you like to keep up with all that is going on in the rooms around you, the walls afford no defence against your neighbours noise or from the disco in the downstair rooms.
We found the bed very hard and uncomfortable, also the pillows.
All the staff made you feel welcome
We were going to have lunch but the restaurant wasn't open the only other option was the bar area! In the summer it wouldn't have been a problem but the tables we not for eating at!,,, too short, we like to sit up at a proper table! No biggie!,,
The hotel was very quite, clean the beds were comfort, the art work on level 3 was the funniest I've ever seen in a hotel,! It actually suited the seatle because of where it is!
The staff were very attentive, the service given by staff was pleasant and in a friendly manner. The rooms were very clean and well presented.
no sauna or pool
A fraction pricey for a Saturday but on a par with everything else in the area so not really a criticism. There is building work going on but there is in EVERY City and never on a Sunday. Get over it!
Considering how expensive parking in Brighton can be, having a free multi-storey less than 300m away (Can't believe others complain about the walk!) is a godsend. Buses and taxis run very frequently and reasonably the 1.5miles to the City itself. Tons to do, you are only limited by your lack of imagination. Love the City and all of it's eccentricities. Hotel is a great base and refreshingly low key. Great works of art on the third floor - made me giggle.
Staff only to pleased to help, and new the answers to any questions we had.
I can't fault the hotel.
The quietness of the hotel and helpfull staff.
Telly didn't work properly. The marina is not as nice as Brighton centre.
massive bed and sea views
