Located near Piccadilly Station and lively Canal Street. Nice building. It is not possible to open a window. The climate in the room was bad. The room had no view. Breakfast was very expensive and the reception was not clear about the price. You have to log in for wifi all the time.

Location is excellent. The building and architecture is very handsome. The downstairs bar area is very nicely done. The bar grill was overall not bad and reasonably priced. The bed was very comfortable. The continental breakfast was very nice. The superior room wasn't, in my opinion, superior and based upon what we paid didn't provide good value. Bathroom luxuries were a bar of soap / shower gel.

Staff friendly and helpful. Our room had a huge (double) bed and everything we needed for our overnight stay. It was light and spacious and very quiet and peaceful. There were soft drinks and snacks available as well as the free coffee and biscuits. Nice cafe/bar offering reasonably priced meals as well as exclusive gourmet restaurant in the basement. Check out at 12 noon is good compared to some hotels which are 11 a.m. departure. Also we were allowed into our room an hour earlier on our arrival (normally 2 p.m.) although we offered to wait in the bar. We would visit this hotel again but check out if there are any special offers before you go (e.g. free breakfast and evening meal in cafe during February which we missed out on so went our for dinner and breakfast). The one lift in the hotel is a joke so we walked down 3 flights of stairs during our stay after trying to use lift unsuccessfully. Staff are aware of this problem but only one lift in hotel and on one occasion it didn't come at all. If you had heavy luggage or children this would be a problem.

The service was second to none, and the dinning experience was amazing. It was quite noisy in the room as we backed onto a service alley.

The room size was big which is a plus but there was too much pointless furniture filling the space making it hard to get around. A lot I didn't like. Got there and had no record of my booking - even though booking.com had sent all the paper work. Unhelpful staff, weird decor, shutters that did not block light out and building work from 7am every day!

Attention to detail was great. Luxury bathroom products. Comfortable bar. Great location for shopping and train station. Wood floors in rooms and corridors - you could hear heeled shoes on the floors.

The staff were helpful (particularly in the bistro) the food was great and the rooms are beautifully designed. The building itself is a tasteful conversion (of what I assume was an industrial building). I would definitely return and I would heartily recommend it. Little touches really made it like the huge bed, the toiletries and the fact that the drinks and snacks in the room were not extortionately priced, just what you'd pay in a shop. A brilliant, stylish, comfortable, not fussy but luxurious hotel! There could have been a few more staff visible.
