Allandale House is an elegant 18th-century property, on the main high street of the historic town of Auchterarder. Traditional tea shops, antique traders and high quality clothes stores can be found a few hundred yards from the bed and breakfast. Fully tiled private bathrooms with complimentary toiletries are featured in each Allandale room, along with free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV and DVD player. A guest library of DVDs is also available. A full Scottish breakfast buffet is offered in the cozy dining room and many restaurants offering homemade food are available in the local area. The famous Gleneagles Golf Course is just a 10 minute drive from the bed and breakfast, and pre-booked tee times can be arranged for guests at the front desk. Tullibardine Distillery Visitor Center is only 4.8 miles away and tours are available 7 days a week. What a lovely place to stay.Beautifully decorated and very reasonably priced for the high standard.Friendly and welcoming owners.Our room and bathroom were spotlless.Lovely breakfast- my poached eggs were perfectly cooked - great choice of other breakfast items as well.I would absolutely recomend Allandale House and hope to stay again some day. Nothing - everything perfect

We were very happy with Allandale House. Gerry and his wife were always very helpful. They couldn't do enough for us to make sure our stay was as pleasurable as possible. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Our breakfast was of the highest standard and always served with a smile.

Owners were terrific! Location was great and furnishings were absolutely beautiful and tasteful. Best b& b we have ever stayed at. Food excellent as well. Would be good to know in advance about the stairs. But they were fine for us.

the friendliness and warm welcome. It really did feel like a home from home. Gerry took the time and trouble to ensure we were at ease and knew the local hostelries ,where to go and where to avoid!. We will certainly be using the accommodation again. Rooms were a little too warm. However they were spotless and of a very high standard

For us that we had a golf tournament in gleneagles was a great accommodation. Clean and comfortable rooms, comfortable beds, great breakfast, friendly owner. Very good!

Our every need was catered for and more. The owners and staff were very friendly and welcoming. Allandale House is by far the best place any of us have ever stayed in, and between us we have had lots of experience of good b&b'S. I would go so far as to say it beats most of the hotels any of us have stayed in. Thank you Loraine and Gerry for your attention to detail. I challenge anyone not to like Allandale House!

Centrally located with all amenities available in High St, including easy parking. An excellent welcome from the hosts. Very high standard of rooms within a beautiful Victorian house. Nice ambience. Excellent breakfast. One of the best b & Bs I have had the pleasure of staying in. Highly recommended. No communal lounge
