Paddington Court Rooms  

The rooms were adequate with the necessary amenities.

It would have been convenient if a mini frig were available as we stayed for 7 nights. Most of the staff were not as helpful or as knowledgeable as they could have been. However, I would like to mention Mary at the front desk was very helpful and professional. She was on duty on Sunday and Monday, September 18/19.

Good location, close to Paddington Station

Had no end of trouble with room, air conditioning didn't work and consequently unbearably hot; then moved rooms and hotel staff had trouble locating luggage; hotel manager though was genuine and considerate.

I wanted location close to Paddington station, the hotel is well positioned. Rooms are well equipped.

When I arrived at the address, it was a locked door, with no bell, buzzer or reception ! I then rang the number provided, and got no answer. Fortunately, someone came out the door and they advised me that I needed to go to reception at Best Western Shaftsbury, Paddington Court Suites, which was on the other side of the street. The rooms were very small, I actually booked a double, even though I was travelling solo, as I want a reasonable size room. Very little space to get around the bed, ensuite was also very tight, even by London standards.

Location was brilliant, even through the x-mas and tube strike, as you could walk easily and almost all the buses from Oxford street passes through. Very close to two tube stations on different lines - Lancaster Gate and Paddington, sou you can chose winch direction you wanna go without less changes.

I have booked the twee room for period of 10 days, and discovered the bugs in my bed. When to reception and they provided 2 separate bedrooms with internet access. Was very plinsed.

Fair price, position, building.

No bottles of water inside the room. Neither other beverages. No lift (what about old people or disabled???)

Staff made the effort to find a way of charging my phone. They were pleasant too.

Reception was in a different hotel across the road, which wasn't obvious. The bedroom lighting was poor in the dressing area. It meant my make up had to be put on in the bathroom, which did not have a shelf to put the makeup bag, so I was darting between rooms. The light in the bathroom was not great either.

One of the light in my room kept on and off, quite scary and the smell there wasn't nice

Were housed at main hotel. Excellent service. Friendly and helpful staff. Good location. Comfortable room. Welcome screen on tv nice touch. Thoroughly recommended.
