Allerdale Court Hotel  

Very comfortable room, relaxed atmosphere, great restaurant. Everything in place and organized with no fuss. An accurate, clearly itemized bill produced on departure. An excellent hotel at a fair price.

Perhaps the Bathroom was a little small, but main room very large.

Very welcoming and the dog was able to stay in the hotel. Room was excellent as was food.

Spacious, well finished room with plenty of space for our baby. The staff were very helpful and chatty. Good bistro on the ground floor which was perfect as we didn't have far to travel with the little one. First time in Cockermouth - it was a pleasant surprise as it was far quieter over Easter weekend than most Lake District towns yet had quite a few things to see and do. Cracking breakfast!

Little bit noisy overlooking the main street on a Friday night, but nothing major.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds and a good location in the centre of town. Friendly staff

The food wasn't great when we ate there, but this may have been a one off. The restaurant has a good menu and the breakfasts are good. There are other places to eat within a very short walk.

Parking ( No Fault of Hotel ) Maybe Allendale require a deal with local Authority Noise,Slideing sash windows at the front of the hotel wouldnt close properly,( Internal secondary double glazeing would help )

The hotel is right in the centre of this interesting small town. Very friendly and helpful staff. An excellent breakfast in the morning and fine beers served at the hotel bar.

I really liked the hotel! Everything was excellent and the stuff was so kind, smiled and friendly! I will definately come back there if I have the opportunity!

The rooms were well furnished and spacious. The staff were very freindly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent.

The small access of the front door when checking in. I am sure that both sides opened but is was restricted and map have caused problems for disabled patrons. There is no lift available and there are many stairs so I would say that the hotel is unsuitable for wheel chair users.

Friendly, homely, comfortable, very nice staff. Good food, especially the sausage sandwiches at breakfast!

Lack of parking, cramped bathroom, would have been better with a walk-in shower rather than a bath.

Lovely hotel very comfortable with friendly staff who were very attentive and polite. We were given a complimentary upgrade as they were quiet. Very clean, spacious, nicely decorated room with good facilities. Great location for exploring the area.

Quite noisy as room at front and the service vehicles delivered early. Could have done with a bathroom mat as the floor was quite slippery when getting out of the bath/shower. No car park, we had to get up early and put a ticket on the car. Perhaps the hotel could arrange a deal with the Council.

Mainly its situation in the centre of Cockermouth. a very comfortable family run hotel. this is our second stay at the hotel and we will definitely be returning. A good breakfast is offered, the fresh fruit salad and scrambled eggs with salmon were exceptional.

Lovely little hotel right in the centre of Cockermouth. Bistro restaurant served excellent quality food and all the staff were terrific. Great breakfast and very quick, good news when leaving on business. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful room - so incredibly spacious. Everything we encountered was ultra comfortable. The staff were amazingly friendly and communicative.

The staff were great and really helpfull. We were staying due to a wedding and needed early check in. The staff said if our rooms werent ready they would provide one room for us all... As it happened they were ready. The rooms were lovely and breakfast was fab. Would reccommend to friends.
