“ The atmosphere at Allt-Na-Craig House was always very warm, friendly and welcoming. As a solo business traveller I always felt free to come and go as I pleased with no indication that I was interrupting the day-to-day running of the house. It felt more like a stay with friends than a business much to the credit of the two friendly owners. ”

With incredible views across Loch Fyne, this Victorian guest accommodation offers individually designed rooms with an en suite bathroom. Surrounded by beautiful Scottish countryside, guests can enjoy scenic walks in the immediate area. Homemade dishes are served in the restaurant, which uses local produce such as salmon from Loch Fyne. The drawing room overlooks the loch and the log fire is lit during the winter months. the hosts were very welcoming friendly and helpful for local sightseeing ,. the breakfast was excellant with wide choice .the room was clean and the bed was comfy , what more could you ask for . Hamish and Charlotte charming coulple .

Loved the atmosphere. Super friendly owners. Best breakfast I have had in ages, almost reordered it lol. Loved the fires, real cosy. Great mix of furniture. Only staying the one night.

Setting, atmosphere, welcome, food, comfort, hospitality - all very good. We discovered fairly late in the evening that there wasn't a spare toilet roll in our en-suite .. a very minor point which I'm sure would have been addressed by the staff if we'd had enough energy to go and find someone.

We stayed one night here as part of a short honeymoon tour of the west coast of Scotland. I chose this place for its location overlooking the loch. Hamish and Charlotte were very polite, friendly, attentive and welcoming. Allt-Na-Craig felt more like a family home than a corporate hotel. It was clean and although the bed was softer than what we are used to, we still had a good night's sleep. The breakfast menu offered a good selection of choices. It was nicely cooked and served promptly. These were fairly minor things really but the power of the shower was quite weak. It didn't stop us having a shower but compared to other places we stayed at during this tour, it was noticeably weaker and I would imagine less tolerant guests may complain about it. It could do with being power assisted, I think. There was a spar bath which we didn't actually use. We didn't think the bright orange walls went with the red carpet in the bedroom and the modern style bedside cabinets seemed out of keeping with the rest of the furniture in the room which was victorian. I guess these are personal taste things as opposed to criticisms and they wouldn't stop me from recommending Allt-Na-Craig as a place to stay.

Netter Eingangsbereich und Frühstücks- bzw. Kaminzimmer Zimmereinrichtung veraltet, teilweise sogar nicht besonders sauber. Man hatte das Gefühl, dass manche Möbel genauso alt sind wie das Haus, allerdings dementsprechend abgenutzt. Der Empfangsbereich und alles bis zur Tür des Zimmers sieht top aus, wenn man das Zimmer aufmacht allerdings nicht mehr. Der Fußboden war eklig, auch das Bad war eher nicht zu benutzen. Wir waren froh (leider), als wir die Unterkunft nach (zum Glück) nur einer Nacht wieder verlassen haben. Schade.

A lovely old victorian house with hstoric interest tastefully furnished and decorated set in its own grounds on the edge of village. The proprietors were most obliging and friendly The house was immaculately kept and the service and food excellent.
