The new owners of this B&B did everything they could to make their guests welcome and gave excellent advice about the area. The place was clean and comfortable - a sense of gracious living.

Our hosts were very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. There were no problems with asking for a late arrival and we had an excellent breakfast served to us the following morning. This bnb was very handy for the Islay ferry and also close enough to several good pubs and restaurants.

    No issues at all.

I felt very welcomed and the view is amazing. Fairtrade sachets in bedroom - except for tea, which wasn't. The swing couch in the garden, use of washing line and the sunshine!

I heard rather more than I wanted to about the previous owners and how the house and garden had been left.

New owner very friendly and welcoming. Fresh fruit at breakfast. Nice view over the loch from front rooms.

Water pressure was very low and hot water took ages to arrive.

The house overlooks Loch Fyne and the view. Our room and the dining room overlooked the water. The Victorian features in the house were lovely and there is a garden with outdoor seating.

This facility was in the 10th day of new ownership. Despite this, I had an excellent stay.

Whilst the house is superb in respect of its content, size and outlook, a single room user loses out. I therefore feel £55 is a little overpriced.

The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The views were stunning. Breakfast was of a high quality and standard.

On arrival I was informed that the property has been sold and that the sale process has been delayed for reasons beyond their control. Although I fully understand the difficulties this may have posed and I appreciate the fact that my booking had not been cancelIed at the last minute I was disappointed that an evening meal was not available as anticipated and that I had not been notified of this prior to arrival. The breakfast was very good and of a high quality with fresh produce available. However, possibly due to the imminent transfer of ownership the facilities in my room were not so good. There was a cracked and discoloured cup and out of date biscuits on offer and I found the room, furnishings and decor in need of attention and TLC which unfortunately spoilt what was obviously once a stunning guest house.
