Warm and welcoming. The owners could not be more helpful. Lovely breakfast overlooking the loch. Roaring fires and afternoon tea - could not have been better!
The owners couldn't do enough for me, i felt welcomed from the minute i walked through the door till long after I had left. Every question i usually have to ask was covered in the welcome. The room i had had fantastic wifi that allowed me to stream movies without any buffering. They had an ice machine which allong with the great wifi made me think i was in heaven. The breakfast the next day was fantastic, i had a loch view, fruit was all fresh, eggs perfectly cooked and once again really attentive service. I would stay here again without any worries.
This is an excellent small hotel, family run business, good value for money, very clean, modern facilities and to top matters, a delicious full English cooked breakfast is provided as part of the cost!
I enjoyed the view during breakfast. The meal was great.
The room was slightly chilly but I could have taken that up with the owner which I believe he could have helped with but I didn't get round to do that.
Lack of TV in room
Friendly and helpful owners
The house was very impressive in lovely surroundings and tastefully furnished. Made to feel welcome on arrival. Bedroom very spacious and comfortable. Dining room was elegant and Loch Fyne kippers for breakfast - fantastic.
Not much to dislike but shower was an experience. Water pressure poor but if this could be improved I am sure the problem would be resolved. Was a talking point at breakfast!
Frendly and kind hosts
The new owners of this B&B did everything they could to make their guests welcome and gave excellent advice about the area. The place was clean and comfortable - a sense of gracious living.
The windows of the Buchanan room were not cleant at all.
Staff made you feel incredibly welcome, they were chatty and open, really opening their home to you and definitely not making you feel rushed or uncomfortable in the slightest.
Didn't like having to leave! Internet connection was intermittent which when exploring the area makes it a little difficult if you're not used to map reading!!
Very pleasant and friendly owners who haven't been here very long but do everything possible to make all guests feel welcome Good choice of excellent breakfasts Fine views of the loch and wildlife on the lawn
Warm welcome from very friendly hosts with an excellent breakfast, all freshly made. And the view was magnificent!
Ensuite a bit tired but very servicable.
Our hosts were very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. There were no problems with asking for a late arrival and we had an excellent breakfast served to us the following morning. This bnb was very handy for the Islay ferry and also close enough to several good pubs and restaurants.
No issues at all.
Location,room and breakfast were excellent
Everything! Beautiful location, warm friendly staff ,great breakfast. Hope to go and stay there again!!
Very nice location looking our to Loch Fyne. Food is good and hosts are friendly.
VISA wasn't working but was pending.
I felt very welcomed and the view is amazing. Fairtrade sachets in bedroom - except for tea, which wasn't. The swing couch in the garden, use of washing line and the sunshine!
I heard rather more than I wanted to about the previous owners and how the house and garden had been left.
Amazing hosts, great breakfast, beautifully decorated rooms. Very convenient location to explore the islands of MULL, ARRAN etc.
New owner very friendly and welcoming. Fresh fruit at breakfast. Nice view over the loch from front rooms.
Water pressure was very low and hot water took ages to arrive.
The service was excellent. The new owners are very attentive and helpful. The setting is lovely and the view from our window was great. We were welcomed with tea and coffee and some lovely nougat- extra special!
Thought 130 was steep for a guest house.
Lovely rooms and location. Good breakfast!
The house overlooks Loch Fyne and the view. Our room and the dining room overlooked the water. The Victorian features in the house were lovely and there is a garden with outdoor seating.
This facility was in the 10th day of new ownership. Despite this, I had an excellent stay.
Whilst the house is superb in respect of its content, size and outlook, a single room user loses out. I therefore feel £55 is a little overpriced.
