The weather, but it could not dampen our spirits.
Friendly welcome. Comfortable room. Excellent Scottish Breakfast.
En Suite perhaps a little cramprd
Lovely and very friendly staff
The hospitality of Carol and Paul was outstanding. The food was excellent. Enjoyed the complimentary whisky and sherry ...
Broken toilet seat which was unpleasant when Sitting.
The room was comfortable and quiet. The decoration is really good - all sorts of odd things here and there which appealed to us. Our hostess was wonderful - nothing was too much trouble!!
The wifi!! You need a repeater on every food. Or you can stand next to the router which is what I did!!
The location was excellent and the staff helpful with a car problem we had.
Kept banging my knee on the bed frame corner because the bed was too large for the room. There was no working wifi and TV was not working.
Owners were great and could not have been nicer. Beautiful location. Crisp clean sheets and towels.
The tiniest room ever. Needs some maintenance, one of ceiling lights wires all exposed. TV way up on the cupboard, impossible to watch.
The hosts where friendly and very helpful, nothing was to much trouble, the Hotel was in a wonderful location and worth paying a little extra for the exceptional sea view, a short walk along the sea front takes you into the town. would love to visit again.
Breakfast was superb. The room with a sea view was breathtaking at sunset.
The room for our second night stay overlooking the coast.
The room allocated to us for our first night stay. Drab, ill furnished and uncomfortable. Was described as having garden view. Never!!!!!!. Being on the ground floor the window view was black tarmac driveway, dirty grey wall, two parked motor bikes and the gable end of next door
The room we had (room 3) would have bee more suited to accommodate a single bed. The guest house has no guest lounge but has a few old thread bare seats at the entrance. Advertises 4 star when in fact I'd say they would struggle to get 3 stars. And comparing with other places I've stayed I'd say at £90 per room per night the were at least £30 over priced.
nothing in particular
room to small no drawers for clothing no wardrobe just a shallow cupboard bed took up most the room no shelve in the bathroom to put toiletries
Lovely room in great location, good parking
Everything! A wonderful Victorian home. The room was very nice, very nicely appointed, very romantic. we loved the great view of the harbor. Easy walking distance to great restaurants. Very nice breakfast room, and great breakfast.
Location great over looking the bay. Walking distance to city centre and ferries.
Climbing stairs to attic room and TV very small and impossible to see and read screen.
The sea view from our bedroom was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and the room was spacious, luxiously appointed and spotless. The breakfast was cooked to a high standard and excellent value at £7.50.
Comfortable, well presented, reasonable car parking spaces, fantastic view from the front rooms. Breakfast room was lovely if a bit crowded on some mornings when everyone came down at once, which can happen anywhere. Easy flat walk into town
There was a notice that their card machine don't work and would require cash, it did work, but caused us a few worrying moments as we were travelling from overseas and almost run out of cash. Not sure what that notice was about.
Our bedroom was great, with a spare room attached so we could offload our luggage which would otherwise have been tight. Good bathroom.
Our friends' quite compact room with diminutive bathroom.
Location superb. View from diningroom at breakfast across Oban Bay, Sound of Kerrera, island of Mull and Morvern peninsula - breathtaking. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bedrooms with a view...perfect!
One of the rooms we booked had a sea view and it was just lovely! All the beds were comfortable and showers were great! Breakfast was delicious and staff were so nice! My daughter stained her pants and the owner was kind enough to put some special stain remover on it and the pants were saved! We will definitely go back!
i liked the rooms the décor the dining room for breakfast the table setting the breakfast itself quality over quantity if you are looking for quality bed & breakfast this definitely this one
The location of the property is excellent, being on the seafront just outside the town centre. We had a twin room at the back of the property so we weren't lucky enough to have a sea view but rooms at the front must have a wonderful view. The room wasn't huge but it was absolutely fine for us. We found the beds comfortable and the room clean. The view from the breakfast room was lovely.
Parking was a bit tricky and I had to go to the hospital a&e in the evening and had to find the owners of other cars so we could do a bit of shuffling around. Not a major problem though and it wouldn't stop us staying again. I imagine most of the properties on the seafront have a similar issue.
Nice room. Good location. Friendly staff.
Lacking in storage space. Breakfast not very good at all. No toiletries in bathroom.
