With a stylish restaurant and cocktail bar, Crowne Plaza London-Docklands features a modern leisure centre with views over Royal Victoria Dock. The 4-star hotel is a 10-minute drive from Canary Wharf....
Score from 742 reviews Very good
Excellent location to get into central London. Modern clean and friendly . Staff were very helpful and gave early check in
Very convenient for boat show
Smokers outside front entrance as we arrived
DLR station nearby Clean Confort Helpfull staff
Location.Away from everything except the airport.
Location by the airport and straight into the boat show - effortless .... :-). Clean, tidy, helpful .... Top marks ...
No room service - empty mini bar, and long wait in the restaurant first night (about which I was warned prior to ordering)
the restaurant boasting the hotel as child friendly and having no kids menu is contradictory a kitchen is a kitchen and should have basic childrens menu in situ
The position of this hotel is great for the O2, really clean/comfortable and friendly hotel, I would definitely stay there again.
There was nothing I didn't like.
Large bedroom/bed, enjoyed our stay !.
best bed i have slept in since the sheraton suites no noise and the staff were lovely we will be going back when its warmer great for the o2 arena as well.
1 of the card keys did not work but it was not really a problem for us. we had a fab weekend
Design of hotel and rooms. Bed. Bathroom. Location.
Right next to the dlr station, perfect for a tired traveller arriving @ city airport. Very sleek and modern rooms with thoughtful details. A very comfortable stay.
The reception staff need a bit more training as my husband was arriving earlier and they couldn't let him into the room just because it was booked under my name and I was arriving later. Even though I called the hotel to give them notice they said they couldn't help me as I made a booking via bookings.com, which I found rather frustrating. My husband had to wait for me for 4 hours!
there have kettle and coffee, 24hr bar
I was requested twin bed room, but they gave me double room, a bit far from city centre
Quirky Room Bed size Hotel theme Close to DLR stop
TV reception Distance to city centre No easy access to shops Hotel bar closes at midnight
everything was amazing
Views across London Lovely clean room
Having to pay for parking in addition to hotel stay
Loved the long windows in the room and the pool
Location was perfect, right beside Excel West Entrance Good ambiance in the hotel Helpful Staff Free Wifi works well Very good coffee in the rooms
I loved the location, the hotel was very beautiful and comfort was superb but on our first arrival the staff was so rude, think they need to work more on customer service considering the money being paid. Overall experience was ok.
The lady that attended to us the first night was so rude to us, very rude customer service attendant .
The whole hotel was great the staff really friendly and Helpfull nice restaurant and really good location with good transport links
Having to pay for car parking?
- gym is pretty good (for a hotel gym) with a mix of cardio machines - room was large and comfortable - the location is adjacent to excel and the DLR. This location was great for me but people should recognise that this is not an area you'd normally choose to stay unless visitng Excel or somewhere in near proximity
- pool is more of a spa pool rather than a 'traditional' swimming pool. It was still possible to swim but only at certain times during the day - wifi seemed to register you as outside UK therefore difficulty accessing skygo and iplayer
loved location very very accessible and splash pool and sauna was nice. When called to make changes re booking staff were very accommodating
Buffett hot food rather quite and stodgy. Steam room not working and gym only one of three treadmills were woking which was a shame. No toothpaste in room and when enquired could purchase from vending machine! Also not nice having no toilet brush in rooms.
There are several places were you can grab snack or have a proper dinner. The room is quite small, however everything is smartly and cozy arranged. 2 minute walk from the subway station.
The water pressure in the shower was really low. And the tea-kettle is tiny.
Like the fact that the hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of Canary Wharf and main Excel Exhibition Centre hotels and tucked away in its own corner. Always ample parking available. Check-in staff friendly and efficient for the most part. Nice, powerful showers. Proper sized suites, with a separate living room.
Not impressed that it has taken almost a week for prepaid card authorisation amount to be refunded back to my card. Was not advised at check-in that i could leave a cash deposit instead (which could have been refunded at check-out instead of the wait). They are also not able to advise how long it would take for the prepaid card authorisation amount to be refunded which is unprofessional and not going the extra mile. Stains found on the lounges of "suites" we have stayed in on each occasion. Mentioned this to staff on repeat visit, only to be given another suite with more stains. The hotel does not have room service and instead operates a 24 hour store by the lobby which gives it a budget feel.
Everything espiecally the gym
