On the waterfront, Ramada Hotel & Suites London Docklands is just half a mile from London City Airport. With a bar and restaurant, and the Docklands Light Railroad is only 0.3 miles away.
Score from 1160 reviews Good
With views of Royal Victoria Dock, ibis London Excel-Docklands is less than a one-minute walk from the ExCeL exhibition center and the Emirates Air Line cable car system that leads to the O2 Arena.

With a stylish restaurant and cocktail bar, the Crowne Plaza London-Docklands features a modern recreation center with views of Royal Victoria Dock.
Score from 684 reviews Very good
The quality of the room was outstanding and the breakfast buffet was very extensive and of good quality. Very handily located for Excel and the nearby airport.
While the staff were not unfriendly, I felt that nobody was particularly interested in helping me. When I asked at reception if my colleague had checked in as yet, I was told that they were not allowed to give out that information. No doubt there are good security reasons, but they were not explained, just the terse reply. It's a good business hotel but the location and character of the place won't appeal to leisure travellers.
Adjacent to Excel. Staff were apologetic at checkout but really should have acted on my request
Failed to replace broken kettle. Problem with bfast. Surrounding area is desolate.
Very close to excel where we attended Comicon. And the price was just right.
Couldn't find many areas in walking distance to eat in the evening. May have been lack of local knowledge though some advice would be helpful.
Lovely hotel would definitely return! A little bit out from the centre of London but transport is great! Thanks for a wonderful stay
The hotel was fantastic, no negatives at all and perfectly placed for the O2. Staff could not be more helpful, rooms were superb and breakfast one of the best we've ever had. Thoroughly recommend to anyone going to O2 or Excel centre.
Swimming pool, easy to get to from dlr. Not overlooked and relatively quiet.
No close facilities other than station. Distance to central London. As with London hotels expensive but typical.
Beds are massive and very comfortable, slept really well. Great breakfast and spa like pool to relax in, must be the best value hotel in london
Had to wait a few minutes for a table at breakfast, no big deal
Loved everything it was perfect
Very comfortable beds, nice room, 24 hr shop including breakfast facilities, bar
Name did not work for wifi login but able to substitute with voucher codes
Lack of room service is a frustration and reason why I wouldn't visit again
Splash pool room with fridge set up of shower/kettle/sink view from 2nd floor - rowers on a Sunday morning LOVED the fresh ground coffee didn't try eating bar late at night
1st receptionist was not very well informed - others were fine though - guess everyone has to be new once!
hotel very close to DLR for easy access into London city center. room and hotel very modern with huge windows to give you the feeling of openness. Pool and sauna very nice and clean. staff was very helpful with all queries. Would definately recomend this hotel to friends.
We had a city view which wasn't that spectacular, overlooking a truck stop and mostly factories in the foreground. Would have preferred a river view instead. No shopping center close or within walking distance to hotel. Nearest shop (Tesco) 2 train stops away.
the room the staff the view of the river the restaurant a lift to the rooms with limited access to others reception
bit far out of London so terrible to access by trains with luggage get a cab
The location of the Hotel was great for our visit to the O2. Nice rooms, Breakfast ok.
Bar not open until 5.30pm and no room service...also when we got to breakfast staff said it wasn't included even though we had booked with breakfast. We had to sign to pay for breakfast but was sorted when we checked out!
So close to excl. Centre and dlr
At dinner I was told they was fully booked, being on my own and it was heavy rain I didnt want to go try find some where else to eat.. luckly I was offered an early time so I went for that. Whilst down there I noticed most people where turned away .. I not sure if they were short staffed- the food bit isnt that big.. the food was v nice though x
The hotel overall
Parking was not explained fully
Location, rooms, staff (especiall the barmen/waitresses in YXML bar).
Late checkin as room not ready (but they agreed to a late check out) - maid service rather late in the day (about 16h00).
I loved everything in the hotel
The swimming pool closing at 11pm and the hotel location far away from the London central. It takes around 35 to 40 mins by DLR and underground. But the hotel location area it's very lovely and very near to London airport as well.
Quality of rooms.
Heating controller did not work. Mini fridge did not work.
The design of the hotel
We had no electricity in the room in the morning and it took 3 phone calls to get it put right. If you used the kettle it tripped the lights. The hairdryer didnt work properley and the male receptionist did not know what he was doing.
Swimming pool was execellent and rooms were lovely.
This was my second stay at this hotel and once again I was very pleased with my two day stay. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The location next to DLR provides excellent transport either into London, Stratford or anywhere else in the Docklands area.
Absolutely no dislikes, will most certainly stay at this hotel again.
Great Hotel. Very convenient!
I needed Twin rooms for my colleagues but had to settle for a King room even though I had clearly stated that it was a requirement of my stay.
