Relax and good jazz band

The food and the location of the hotel, which could not have been better.

On the way to our next destination we noticed on the booking.com printout, we should have been staying in a "Superior Double Room" the description of which was given as "Spacious room with a king-size bed and scenic views". If you ignored the massive theme-park car-park below our window and looked to the distant hills it was a scenic landscape, The room was spacious and could have had room for a king-size bed but didn't have one. However we should have read the booking description prior to our visit.

Hotel staff attentive, food reasonable , breakfast very good, room very clean .

Second night the central heating banging throughout night, avoid room 216. room service sandwich poor ,not as described and well overpriced .

Very friendly and attentive staff very clean and lots of light in the public areas.

The Alona is situated in a lovely location. I loved the fact you are greeted with such a warm welcome and a complimentary glass of vino! A lovely, modern hotel with good facilities and very good value for money

Food in the Restraunt was fantastic and staff were really helpful

Welcome was great. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable. Free wi-fi was excellent as I could work in the evening.

As a solo traveller , I am not really one for having to eat and order in an a La Carte restaurant. I am away that much that most of the time I prefer to sit and have a bar snack and a beer - this option was not avaialable.

The hotel is lovely,rooms spacious staff very friendly,breakfast was good plenty to choose from and nothing was a bother to staff.

I was offered a complimentary glass of wine on arrival and was checked in fast. The room was spacious and modern with a powerful shower and comfortable bed. The restaurant was well run and the food was received very quickly to a good standard.

This was a treat for my daughter and her boyfriend for Valentine's/Birthday Present. The young couple loved their stay - although it was not long enough. They enjoyed the treat and said that their room was lovely and the staff very friendly. I tried to book a meal for them on the day but could not get through on the phone to the hotel. I booked this hotel as I have worked with Borg-Grech Photography as part of the team and knew that the hotel had a lot to offer both young and old. I hope to re-book later this year for myself and a friend. A big thank you to all the staff!

Not getting through on the phone on the day to book a meal for them. As I did not know if my finances would stretch to a meal until the day I was a bit disappointed that I could not book it as an added surprise. The couple ended up eating in the Fun Park. I am sure your would have been so much better!

The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming. We also thought the meal in the restaurant was excellent. We were upgraded to a better room so that was a nice surprise. The room was spacious, clean and well decorated and very quiet. THe location was also pleasant. We would definitely return.

The outside of the residential part of the hotel looks a bit basic and we thought didn't reflect the excellent decor and facilities inside.
