It was ideal for staying the weekend, cheap and clean. It was also good that a pub was there too. The only think I was unhappy was that we left a night early so only stayed 1 night and wasn't offered another room or atleast told that that they would have offered a room for the night if it wasn't full. |

Found staff to be friendly and helpfull. The hotel offers good basic accomodation at a fair price and is most suitable for a stopover. |

Convenience, easily accessed from motorway. Very helpful staff. Very basic. Had to walk along a long walkway to get to room and get out again. Room felt very closed in. Window looked out onto a fence. Could only open one small window slightly. |

The breakfast was poor. No cereal or fruit juice. One person serving so a delay in getting the breakfast. Also the coffee came as 1 cup only with sugar and milk in containers - no sweeteners offered and the one person serving did not stop to take comments or requests. |

The towels and the sheets were changed every day. The staff was very friendly and polite. They even gave us an extra heater if needed. The room was extremely small. The WC needed harder cleaning. The internet connection speed was inconsistent. A fridge in the room would be a very good idea. |

The accommodation was what we looked for - ie comfortable, low cost and clean. Food was also good from The Pelican. There was a large party on the Saturday night and The Pelican did not make arrangements for additional staff to be made available at breakfast-time. |

I was happily surprised to get free WiFi, reception was very helpful, too. The kettle and hair dryer were very convenient. Very nicely quiet sound levels, too. Most people would count it as a plus, but I found the heating overwhelming and the tiny window that could only open a bit wasn't enough to keep me cool. It didn't bother my companion though, so I guess it's just me :P |

Not a lot.. The room was ok, but no bath only a shower. Bed was comfortable. The food in the pub attached to the site was absolutley awful. Also the trip back to the m60 (3 miles) took 45mins (at 8.00am). |

convenient for Manchester Airport parking, very helpful to have pub/restaraunt adjacent with early breakfast availability. Would be very helpful to be able to use the covered porch to get to the restaraun,t and not have to run in the rain as we did. |

very quiet and immaculately clean and comfortable room - both at the beginning of our holiday and on the final night. We also found the meals in the pub very good value, and the breakfast excellent. The staff were most helpful. Athough there were instructions for reaching the airport car park from the hotel, there were no instructions about making the journey from the airport car park back to the hotel at the end of the holiday. This is a rather confusing journey and we were pleased we did a "dummy run" at the beginning of our holiday, as we got very lost! |

The hotel was easily located and the reception staff was very helpful providing local advice and rearranging our room . The breakfast although not bad was not up to the standard as a previous stay |

They had no record of my booking through booking.com. Luckily they had a room and honored the price i booked online. This could have been a big problem if they had no vacancy. not sure why booking.com never forwarded them the confirmation. |
