Convenient location. Adequate facilities. Proximity to food premises. Bedside light fittings broken - unsafe. High risk of electric shock. |

Comfy bed, warm room. Easy to find and convenient for getting into Manchester. Have stayed there several times and it has been refurbished nicely, although the toilet was stained and a bit off putting! When we booked in we were not told there was a packed breakfast available through the hotel. We were told by staff in the nearby pub, who did not offer a full breakfast either. It was not possible to control the heat of the shower. The water was uncomfortably hot. I told the lady on reception when we left and she said 'no-one else has complained'. I think the reception staff could do with some training in customer service!! |

It was quiet, gave us the level of room and comfort we required for an overnight stay on the way to Lancashire and the receptionist was extremely helpful. Decent sized car park The Pelican pub ( next door and not connected to the hotel ) is a dive and, although it had handpumps there was no cask ale! The curtains could have been hung differently so that the might be drawn closed without leaving a gap. |

The quality of the Rooms. The easy access to the tram system and manchester city centre. The fact that you had to walk through three fire doors to access our room that was at the end of three long corridors |

I was not feeling well at the time of the visit and therefore it was good to have a goodnight's sleep on this particular occasion with tv and now radio to listen too. |

Cosy and colourful room, really nice. Convenient car parking. My only real gripe? Dreadfully stained toilet. Had I arrived before 9pm, I would have discussed it with reception, but chose to ignore it after a 5 hour drive! As I checked out I mentioned it to the reception staff, who explained that previous cleaners had used the wrong solutions which had apparently "burned" the porcelain. She commented "short on changing the toilet, theres nothing we can do". I understand this is a cost to the hotel, but I would have thought it an investment, and it would deter me from staying again to be honest. Having said that, I paid £29 and I suppose you get what you pay for. Perhaps it could have been mentioned when checking in?? Fortunately the rest of the room generally far exceeded what I expecte |

Near a busy road but the room we stayed in was quiet and comfortable. Good to see tea/coffee making facilities in the room plus hairdryer. A pub serving reasonably good food is conveniently located next door. Staff friendly and helpful. Bathroom was a little dated and could do with a more thorough cleaning but otherwise acceptable. Extractor fan was noisy. |

The staff were helpful, efficient and polite. The room was clean, tidy and warm with a nice clean shower room. All the rooms in the high numbers are a long long way from the nearest exit. You have to walk all the way around the hotel to get to the exit next to the reception passing all the other rooms to get there. It would have made more sense to have had an exit on the block facing the recieption so that at least you had a choice to walk across the short distance over the car park to recieption other than all the way around the three blocks to get there. The hotel isnt like a normal building it is made up of three blocks two going in one direction and the other going across from one to the other like a rectangle with the bottom cut off. You get so you dread the thought of leaving anything in your car and having to walk miles to get it.what a shame |

The bed was extremely comfortable and the overall cleanliness was to a high standard. It was nice to have towels that were thicker than sheets of paper. The exterior lights were obtrusive and the curtains did not keep ,the light out. |

Rooms are nicely decorated, nice lighting, so therefore created a relaxing atmosphere. Good value for money. Previous occupants of the room obviously smoked, there was cigarette ash on the window ledge, which was not picked up by the cleaning staff, and also the shower tray was dirty. Bit hard to control the temperature of the room so sometimes got a bit too warm. |
