Staff very helpful and friendly... (nothing to much trouble) MANY THANKS....
Decoration& some furniture a little tired.... Liked everything else.. We would stay again, and again.... Will recommend.
Nice room with every comfort. Easy access and parking Central heating working as needed
Food at Pelican was poor, there was NO choice at breakfast. No cereal or fruit juice and no jam or marmalade for the toast. The only choice was a fry up. The road was extremely busy and it was difficult to access or exit from the hotel.
Stayed 1 night at this hotel, clean room with helpful staff. Unfortunatly the breakfast wasn't available on the Sunday morning but otherwise a pleasant hotel.
Location for what we were doing spot on
Girl at the front desk
Everything looked like it needed a referb
Great for using if flying fromManchester airport
Only the fact it was easy to get to my relatives house.
We had 2 family rooms. One of the rooms had a double bed and one put you up bed and so could not accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. Both rooms smelt of smoke and the window in one had been left open to get rid of it and so it was cold . The bed had no runner on it.
clean and friendly ideal location be staying there again good parking bays felt very secure if your looking for somewhere to stay near sale ideal
Room was lovely and warm and very comfortable. Just stayed one night before an early morning flight from Manchester Airport.
The pub attached to the hotel was very loud and full of groups of party people. Don't go expecting wonderful food as its very typical pub chain food wished we had gone for an Indian down the road.
All OK inside but outside certainly needs a big tidy up.
Scruffy appearance outside, please clear it up.
no breakfast total lack of communication with the pelican pub very difficult on a sunday with nowhere open.
nice quite room
Stayed a couple of times, only 5 miles from old trafford. The price makes it a good option. Very nice counter staff, good rooms, and great food in the pub next door.
traveled with a baby and staff were very helpfull and interested in thier work.
good place to stay for going to football
Handy for an overnight stop before flying from Manchester airport.Car park on site. Pub attached with reasonable priced meals
Decor tired (but clean) Would describe it as a motel rather than a hotel as when pub closed there is no lounge or other facilities
Everything was on hand,eg. the room was clean and tidy with a good bathroom. The meals at the lodge were very good, and breakfast excelant.
Liked the convenience of parking. Also liked he pelican pub on site. Liked the 24 hour reception desk and security.
It was cheap, clean and cheerful, the staff were very friendly. We were attending an event elsewhere so just wanted somewhere to sleep that wasn't expensive. It did the job!
Pelican pub serves great foods. The steaks are mouth watering. If you are near give it a try, you will not be disappointed. Staff at the pub are very friendly.
Hotel reception very shabby. One of the receptionist (female) needs to be more friendly with guests, very uptight at times and responsive with a take it or leave it attitude. Other than that, all was fine!
Too hot. No lift. The long walk from one end of the hotel to reception (exit). A skip piled high with rubbish in the car park.
The room was very clean with all that you would need for 1-2 days stay.
Could not air the room as small window only opened partly however being on the ground floor understand this is for security reasons. Breakfast in the Pelican was not such a good experience, couldn't get in as staff had locked doors as she was on her own, long wait for food for reason above, only 2 options for breakfast, no coffee as machine not working. However when breakfast arrived food was good. I went back an hour later for just a coffee and machine still not on.
Close to the tram station.
Nowhere to get food in the area after hours. No room service, no drinking water provided in rooms, stains on sheets, very small rooms, no phone, no welcome pack. The bathroom extractor fan was incredibly noisy and broken so it wouldn't turn off. The breakfast was very disappointing, we had to wait about half an hour just for our order to be taken, then our friends joined us shortly after but were told they would have to wait for their orders to be taken, all in all we ended up having to eat at different times and people having to sit and watch others eat even though we were at the same table and wanted to order for the table. When we finally did get the breakfast the egg was not properly cooked and a guest who doesn't drink hot drinks was told he couldn't have an orange juice, so had to have water. Terrible service and waiting times, it wasn't even busy, only one other table, but the one lady might have been cooking, serving and doing it all herself, this wasn't great.
