The location. Chose B&B (not a hotel) as very little else was available, Very plain decoration and furnishings. Overpriced compared to other stays in the region, Not comfortable and did not live up to its promises. Breakfast bar poor, orange juice was from powder? Bedroom furniture cheap quality. Tiny bathroom. Anaglypta predominated: clean but mean and rather depressing. |

Excellent stay - the host was fab! And extremely helpful. The location was great - as being seven months pregnant it was close enough to walk into the centre of town. |

Hotel was very well located, room was excellent. Breakfast was very nice, and the owner was very welcoming and friendly. Would recommend to everyone. No problem for me, but due to the type of building there was no lift, which could be an issue for some. |

The friendliness of the proprietor and the general cleanliness and atmosphere in the hotel. The breakfast was served quickly and very tasty. The location was perfect and carparking excellent. |

The owner of this hotel was very helpfull and friendly, the rooms where clean and tidy so we couldnt ask for any more, really enjoyed our stay. The only thing that dissapointed my husband and i was the fact our room didnt have a walk in shower or one on the wall it was attached to the taps which isnt very practical |

Warm welcome from friendly owner. Reasonable location for town centre. Great access to international centre if that's what your in Harrogate for. Plenty of hot water on demand for showers etc Dreary decor in our room. Noise throughout the night from the main road. Unable to control temperature of room when windows shut to avoid the noise. Breakfast room tight for space |

Mr Grant was very friendly and attentive during my 4 day stay. Very tasteful decor & furnishings in Dining Room & Lounge. Would book again. Very minor - some creaky floorboards/boarding need attention. Duvet on bed a little heavy would suggest lighter duvet during warmer months. |

The hotel owner was most attentive and happy to help with any request, e.g. ordering taxis. The breakfasts were excellent. It was very useful to have free Internet access. |

It was extremely convenient for our visit to the Harrogate International Centre and the owners were very friendly. There was no bar as advertised. It was either room service or drinks brought to the lounge which happened to be closed at 10 p.m on the Saturday night we returned to the hotel. |
