The hosts where warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are lovely with luxury bedding and very comfy beds.

Everything!!!! Jeff and his wife are amazing and the place is beautiful.....so tidy, superclean and warm. And the breakfast was excellent.

Where to begin? Dot and Geoff have become friends rather than just hosts. It was my second visit there and me and my Mum had a spledid time. I'm already planning my next visit. A very high-standard B&B with beautiful rooms, an excellent breakfast and first and foremost the loveliest hosts you can imagine. Thank you, Dot and Geoff!

My single occupancy double room was terrific value for money - I got a reduced price. Room spotless, free parking, easy bus into Canterbury and Whitstable. Breakfast OK but this was real gem for the price. I won't hesitate to stay again if I am on my own on a business trip again to the area.

I had a very pleasant stay at Amadis. The man and the lady running it were very friendly and hospitable and the room was very clean and tidy. The English breakfast I had there was also so delicious.

The room I had, which was a twin room, might be a bit small for two people. Also it didn't have a table if one wanted to work. It was good only for sleeping.

Anything ,quiet place ,easy to find if you have a map or Gps .Not far away from the city .There's a bus stop accross the road .The room was very clean and the breakfast is more than enough and very good .

Very friendly and caring. Dot got up extra-early both mornings to cook me breakfast. Real 'home from home'. Clean, warm, comfortable, just opposite bus stop to Canterbury (10 minutes). Would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to other travellers.

This bed and breakfast is very comfortable. The room was very clean . The hosts Dorothy and jeff made you very welcome. The bed was comfortable and it was nice to have a thick quilt over you after coming in from the cold night air. The breakfast was great.

Geoff and Dot were excellent hosts. They made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed the breakfast, the lively chats with Dot, their adorable little dog Paddy who came to gaze upon the squirrels in the garden.

Very disappointed with location got the impression pretty house in country village with nice country pubs a short stroll 5/10 mins along a busy road to pub which looked grotty & not at all a pretty country village Also room very small twin - low eaves & crammed full of furniture - a few wires sticking out near my bed too not at all the treat get - away we hoped got misleading impression from site as showed a different, larger twin room noisy road outside our room although we both live in v quiet roads so road noise may not bother other guests. Didnt complain to the owners as they were so friendly & they couldnt really change their room! !

everything was great & the hospitality was excellent the food was good & we felt very welcome , we would recommend it to others :)

The best about Amadis were the owners Dorothy and Geoff. They were very personable, helpful and provided an atmosphere of staying with family or friends. I liked little things that were done for the guest from how the towels were folded to how the table was set for breakfast. The owners went to great lengths to make a guest's stay memorable. The breakfast was great. The English Breakfast served hot, many other choices of sides as cereal, fruit or yogurt. Great blueberries! The room was clean and remade daily. I stayed for four nights. It was an excellent stay!

It's a bit far from town center, but bus service is always available.
