The room was a surprise, it smelt fresh, it was very clean. Overall very good. The bed was very hard, it was ok, but not used to a hard bed.

Its location Staff were not very friendly or helpful. Room was clean but shower room had black mold growing in corners and grouting. Only 2 smallish towels provided.

check in was quick. was shown to rrom. it was small but fine for a one night stay. car park at hotel is useful too. hotel in residential area backing onto industrial area and right next to petrol station so there was a lot of noise. both people talking in and around hotel into the early hours and early morning industry sounds. walking to hotel at night felt a little unsafe in that part of high wycombe. thought price was reasonable but would've expected b&b for the cost and not room only which i got. no one around when i left so kust had to leave leave key on reception desk.

Carpet looked as if it hadn't been clean. Bad quality mattress. Small room. Shower was terrible. Water was only boiling hot meaning we didn't get to shower before work.

The location was perfect for where I needed to be. I didn't think the hotel was suitable for a single female, given the number of contractors staying. Corridors smelt of damp and the shower had significant leak. Also didn't appear to be any way of alerting the owners.

On more than one occasion people tried to get into our room (even with a do not disturb sign on the door). I do not no if this was staff or other guest, but obviously quite unnerving, and our room was in sight of reception. Although I would be willing to give it another try

The reception was good. On business, so it served as a cheap rest halt. Good breakfast. You get what you pay for. I was dissapointed the Dining room had closed. The bedrooms/bathrooms are very tired.

The hotel was easy walking distance to town centre, and had ample parking at the back. The proprietor was very pleasant and helpful. The whole place seemed a bit run down and in need of refurb and when we arrived the front door was locked and we had to phone to get someone to let us in!

It was cheap Everything about it was cheap. Be prepared to take your own towels ( if you need more than one small towel each to dry after a shower ) , linen ( if you want it to feel clean ) , iron ( although they supply an ironing board ). You get what you pay for, won't be going again

“This hotel is primarily a conference centre and doesn't have all of the facilities one might expect, but if you can manage without a mini bar in your room, you'll be fine! Our room was spacious and airy with a larger than average bathroom complete with iron, ironing board and hair dryer. There was a most comfortable bar, and a dining room that did a breakfast buffet to cater for all tastes. I cannot praise the staff enough, nothing was a problem. The hotel is in a quite country setting and only 2 or 3 miles from High Wycombe, ideal really.” Derek, Northampton |
