Easy walk from high Wycombe hospital where I worked as a locum also easy walk to shopping centre and central bus station Clean sheets and pillows but used unchanged duvet cover , stained with pubic hairs yuck! . There was no staff to assist me luckily I found the linen store and I was able to change the cover myself. Next to service station and my room backed onto a parking lot so very noisy.

Easy location, large car park, free wifi. Friendly, willing staff were very helpful. Cheap price for a working stopover. Obviously spent some money on the restaurant area. Traffic noise from main road, made it difficult to sleep. Breakfast was unfortunately very poor, with no choice of menu, no ceral offered, just presented with a full English that had over cooked eggs, but raw sausages (they were a soft mush in the middle). Maybe it was the chefs day off, but noticably cheap ingredients didn't help.

friendly staff Stayed here the night before my first day at work. Asked if they could book a taxi for 9.30am. First the taxi was late...when it did arrive it wasn't a taxi!!! I think one of the members of staff had arranged for his friend to drive me. There was no evidence the car was an official taxi, When we arrived at my place of work I was told the journey cost £5. I handed the driver a £10. He only had £4 so I only got £4 change. NOT WHAT I NEEDED FOR MY FIRST DAY OF WORK!!!!

Handy location for my onward journey to Marlow early the next morning. Not sure what it is that makes a Hotel a 3* Hotel. Ambassador is old and tired and badly in need of refurb. That said, it was warm and comfortable and the hosts friendly. The tv was a complete mystery however. Never did get it to work.

"Restaurant" was non-operational. We were told it was only for breakfast. Breakfast was sparse, to say the least. The young man didn't know what a poached egg was and all we received was half a rasher of bacon and one fried egg. Although he tried hard and was keen, he just didn't quite cut the mustard.

It was inexpensive and the room was clean. Reception area was untidy. The hot basin tap in our bathroom didn't work. We saw guests leaning out of bedroom windows to smoke.

the staff wich were freindly enough. have a lot to learn about running a hotel. the room was very cold and didnt look clean. i had to move the net curtain and wipe the window so i could look out of the window. the television looked like it had come out of the ark. i had to get the guy to show me how to get it to come on. my mate couldnt get his to work in his room. the breakfast the next morning was a joke, we waited 20 minutes to be given the worst breakfast ive ever had. we didnt even get offered tea or coffee.. i carnt understand how this company reccomends hotels like this. shurely it reflects on you.

The room was clean and comfortable and the owners/staff were very friendly. Parking was easy with plenty available and the room had access to a genuinely-decent WiFi hotspot provided free for guests. Room was very warm, so needed windows open, but hotel is on a main road so is noisy (although quiet enough with windows shut).
